I don't watch Corrie, but this sounds dire.
How could they randomly put another person in it? It's supposed to be the doctor and his assistant only!
By a railway line today I thought I saw a TARDIS, but it was a bit to bright blue

Last night's was pretty good. I was expecting to see more of how all humans lived in the year 200,000... like the streets on Earth or something, but the conspiracy story was good still. And they ditched that guy quite well, Next week's episode looks quite good too.

The episode with the Dalek was very cool! I think that the relationship between Rose and the Doctor is becoming more fleshed out; the Doctor is very kind yet stern, whereas Rose acts to temper the more stubborn and passionate parts of his personality.

This staurdays episode (For people in england) was kinda crap. I liked the special effects and all in all the epiosed as a whole was pretty good. But i just wasn't kene on the begining. There was effect but no cause. I think if they had shown what made rose think about her dad then i would have been alot better. But yeah it was alright in the end.

Best episode so far, I thought. They put funny and dramatic together really well and the story was believeable... and I guess I kinda like time paradox stuff like that. It's great to see characters on TV shows meeting their past selves and their relatives who don't realise who they are. It was a big shock to me as well that Rose's parents hated each other when she had this picture of an idyllic marriage in her head, and it was really cool seeing young Rose being told that a "mysterious girl" was with her Dad when he died. The special effects on those demon things were rubbish though,

Yesterday's was great too... WW2 London, And after a full episode you still really don't know what's going on and how the cylinder, the zombie people and that Captain person are all connected. Next week's episode should be good.

The episode was set in Caaaaardiff. They made fun of Wales always saying London doesn't care... that was funny.

I love the new series of Doctor Who. It's like nothing else I watch on TV - different and refreshing (nice to see someone had a good idea apart from more reality crap!) I've only managed to watch 7 of them though as I keep going out on Saturdays. Luckily I'll just rent the DVDs through amazon when they're out.

^ lol, yeah i have seen all of the accept for the second episode. You know it's weird how Doctor Who has come out so early on DVD. Thats a bit strange, but i suppose they will bring out a season 1 boxset when the seasons finished wont they.
You know i think Doctor Who might be finishing soon. Something gives me the feeling at the new doctor who seasons will only be 13 episodes long. You know like Battlestar Galactica is.

I've heard also that Billie Piper wants out too. Although I prefer the current Doctor (can never get his name right ) to Billie Piper, both are good actors and if the doctor goes, having a new "Rose" or companion does seem to be stretching it a bit.
Edit for Tuesday: The conclusion to the 1941 episode was great! I loved it, and I especially loved the ending. It's rife with great quotes. One would be:
Doctor Who wrote: | Would you close the door? Your spaceship's about to explode, there'll be draft. |
But the best quote was the most memorable:
Doctor Who wrote: | Everybody lives, Rose! Just once, everyone lives! |

I think that all the episodes were great with Christopher Eccleston (I think thats how you spell it!) and I'm also sad to see him go. All my friends are really annoyed by this new David Tennent guy, but at least he's trying. Good thing they're not cancelling it yet, it's too good to cancel.
Billie Piper is staying on at least for another season, but I guess we can't predict what the future holds for the dovtor and rose. I have to agree that the 1940's one was the best along with the last one. That was very emotional!

Okay... why is doctor who now Cassanova (the new guy played Cassanova in a drama of the same name). Doctor Who is not supposed to be attractive.

Ok, I'm as upset as the rest of u that Chris Eccleston left, but for god's sake, we haven't even seen David Tennant as the doctor for a whole episode yet. David Tennant knows that everyone's upset that he's replacing a doctor who everyone seemed to love a lot and that must be pressureful, so I think we should give him a break and let him show us what he can do.
If he really does suck, then we won't watch it anymore, the ratings will go down and they'll either cancel the show or find a better replacement.
When the shoew originally aired and they got anoyther guy to play the doctor, everyone thought that he wouldn't measure up to the doctor before him, but they all had their quirkish charms to playing the doctor and maybe David Tennant will too. We just need to give him a chance.

Anyone here seen the original Doctor Who from the 60s, starring the late William Hartnell? Now each actor has brought his own interpretation to the Doctor. Whilst The Doctor is the same being, his personality changes whenever he regenerates.
The original Doctor was quite grumpy at times and very stubborn. When he regenerated into the second Doctor (played by Patrick Troughton), it took a bit of getting used to because it's a different actor and The Doctor's personality changes. But trust me, you get used to it. It's what kept Doctor Who fresh all these years before the morons at the BBC cancelled it in 1989.
By the way, until Doctor Who returns, you might want to rent out a few vintage Doctor Who adventures. I'd recommend the first adventure entitled "An Unearthly Child" where The Doctor and his companions end up in the Stone Age and are captured by a tribe who want to discover how to 'make' fire. It's a simplistic tale but very, very entertaining.
I'd also recommend you check out the Patrick Troughton era, especially "Tomb of the Cybermen".
Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy had some good adventures too. Yes, some bad ones did slip through but overall, the good thing about Doctor Who is that there's something for everyone, from sci-fi stories to horror stories to stories that are slightly tongue-in-cheek. Check them out.
