Aren't European football and soccer the same? Soccer is just American's word for it.

I voted for Futball/soccer. World Championship is coming up. we qualfied against Rumania 2-0 for us
American Football is fun too watch too. But thats just a couple of guys stacked up in a group fighting over a ball in 1 minute and once it hits the floor they go too commercials, 5 minutes later they do the same thing again but then on the spot the ball fell upon and the ball hits the floor and they go too commercials. After twice of that i am kinda done with the whole thing.
But i don't really like soccer eighter, only the World Championship...

IMO, American Football is just rugby for wimps. The players wear so much protection. In rugby, they don't bother. Proper tough sport for real people. Women's rugby is sooooo violent... so much fun!

^They wear padding so they can survive to play their next game.
I don't really think it's wimpy to protect yourself from danger so you can play more.

Well.. I voted for the option 'Futbal', which of course I call 'Football'. It's a much more enjoyable game for me, as I'm 'slightly' obsessed with it!

Rugby players don't wear padding and they survive fine
Oh, I got a rather amusing email of what England will propose when we take back America. This is a paragraph from said email. Imagine it's a letter to all Americans.
Quote: | You should stop playing American "football". There is only one kind of football. What you refer to as American "football" is not a very good game. The 2.15% of you who are aware that there is a world outside your borders may have noticed that no one else plays "American" football. You will no longer be allowed to play it, and should instead play proper football. Initially, it would be best if you played with the girls. It is a difficult game. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which is similar to American "football", but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full Kevlar body armour like nancies). |

I'm a big fan of Rugby, more Rugby Union than Rugby League, although Rugby League can be exciting. It's a real man's game - I wish I still played it.
I enjoy NFL too, particularly NFL UK and NFL Europe. Ill-informed critics of American Football say it's all "kneepads" and "helmets" but it is, if you study it, a very skilled game which requires more than brute strength.
Australian Rules Football is another good one, not as rough as Rugby, in my opinion, but a lot tougher than football.

I forgot to mention Gaelic Football. Only ever seen two matches in my life but that was a fast and hectic game.

Ah, the XFL, one of Vince McMahon's many non-wrestling ventures. Was it any good? Did it deserve to last longer?
