Actually, I see them as rather similar. There is no concrete evidence that Christianity has a shred of truth about it--it is inherently possible that Christianity could be one of the largest practical jokes. Now compare with communism, which has no concrete evidence that it could actually work (and I very much doubt it will ever work).

Both seem like ideologies that require a great deal of faith.

Different people believe in different things. To me, my social and economic beliefs are just as important as your ties to religion. In fact, to me, they're more so because they have to do with the real world and not some omnipotent being that very likely doesn't even exist.

It's RELIGIOUS faith. I do not understand how one cannot see the difference, and that's disturbing to me. I think that Christianity supercedes Democracy on this type of level of which we are now discussing.

He's not saying that they are the same, just that you are rubbishing his beliefs and he doesn't like it, in the same way you wouldn't like him rubbishing Christianity.

I realize that my further posting here will likely aggrivate matters, so I will leave this topic now. I reserve the right to return however, if Founder or anyone else here persists in belittling my beliefs. I bid you all good day; I obviously need some time to cool down.

You simply don't understand religion, so I can't even take your statement at face-value.

And you know, I think that I will do the same as Zeke, and not post unless I feel it's necessary, as it would only continue to agrevate the situation.

The problem is that Zeke thinks you don't understand Communism, which is why he got annoyed. Simplified, you say it is bad, he says it is good. You say religion is good, he says it is bad (not as such, but disagrees with it).

How DARE you tell me that I don't understand religion, and how DARE you laugh at it. You know, I really don't like you. And not because you're a republic.

Oh, I respect others and their beliefs, but I simply do NOT see how religion is equal to a strong belief in a government system! It's just NOT!

And I don't see how ANYONE could be pro-life or anti same sex marriage, but I don't write you off and laugh at you for it.

Well, pro-life is obviously understandable and not something to laugh at. You saying that, well I don't know. Maybe it was a mistake, but I just don't see how it's disturbing for me to find religion greater than a government system--it really is not.

Communism is; by definition, a totalitarian socialism.

You're just saying that because you're ashamed of seeing Communism at work. You may say "Thats not what I think a communist nation is!!!!" Too bad. China is a Communist country. Communism at its best and its horrible. I know you're embarrased but its the truth.

No offense? You're laughing at my deepest-held beliefs. You say what you want, you conceited little prick. I'm proud of my beliefs, and whether you like them or not, I demand some semblance of respect.

You accuse me of using the definition of communism that best suits me, but at least the definition I'm using is the original and arguably most correct one. I know that you have a background that makes you very heavily biased in the matter, but I do not think that adequate to excuse your rubbing my beliefs in the dirt. Check your ego; you're no better than me and neither are your beliefs.

NOTE: I know this post is probably over the line, but I will not tolerate my beliefs being so openly spit upon. Whatever the consequences may be for me taking the bait and responding this way, I will accept them.

Mods? How did he get away with posting something like that? This is bulls**t. That was an attack and a warning on him is not enough. People like him should answer for the atrocrities that his brothers and sisters commit on a daily basis.

I thought Zeke was a smart guy, but I was wrong. You know what? If I say how I truly feel I'd get simply banned. So all I can say is I hate Communists and Communism as a whole for the suffering it has imparted on my family and so many others. They are hypocritical and evil. They claim to live in a perfect society, but it isn't so perfect is it? No Religion? Wow how perfect. No individuality? Wow how perfect. This is a disgusting society and way of life. I will never show you or your "beliefs" respect. You don't deserve it. Besides I tried to show you respect and you lowered yourself to name calling. You "claim" that Religion and Republicans have a lot to answer for. Don't point your blood stained finger at me. Not after everything Communists have done.

My backround is not excuse enough? Yes it is. I think I'm the perfect person to say Communism is evil.

When did I ONCE say I was better than you or my beliefs better than yours? NEVER. I never said that and I don't believe myself to be better than anyone.

You're getting upset because I said Communism's way of lif-oppression is bad. If you think China is not "your type of Communism" then why are defending them so deeply?

I don't care if you believe in the "pure" form. What? I can't have a difference of opinion? You sure are pretty childish. I was simply stating that China is yet another form of that "perfect society". Maybe they did fail at it. I don't care. I will always hate Communism. China is a Communist state, maybe not YOUR type of Communism, but they are Communist. That is what I was commenting on. You just jumped and started acting like a child and misreading my posts. Wow. You definitly are a Communist. Because when someone has a different opinion than yours, you get angry and call names.

Feel free to warn/ban me for this. But I wasn't going to let someone like him say all those things and get away with it.

Many things have caused suffering for people in the past. Our American democracy has caused African Americans to suffer, it has caused native Americans to suffer. The Catholic Faith has caused many people to suffer, Muslims in Jerusalem, to simple scientists in Europe. Yet, when you look at your sides, you are able to keep in mind that just because atrocities have been committed, does not make everyone that labels themselves as Catholic or Democratic bad. Yet, you label communists as evil. Although you disagree with them, you need to keep in mind that perhaps, they do truly believe that they are pushing for something that they feel as good. So, next time someone is complaining about the atrocities and horrors that have come from the Catholic faith, perhaps you will hold your tongue, and not blow off the suffering that the Church may have caused families, even now, since you will be able to relate by knowing the horrors that a group of people (communists) have put on your family.

Also, you need to keep in mind that just because it is not posted in public, does not mean that a user has or has not received discipline for something they might have said. Don't be so presumptuous. That is one warning, and until you receive further notification from either Theresa, Jeremy, or me, you will NOT make any further posts in World News, until you do find that you can indeed show respect to the beleifs of others.
