Sun Jun 05, 2005 1:25 am Scott Bakula: "Rick and Brannon did a good job" |
|
"Last episodes are hard to write, they're really hard to write," says Scott Bakula. About the Enterprise finale, he offers, "It's very... it's emotional. It's also fun, a lot of funny stuff in it. Um, it's nothing that I would've ever thought of for our final episode, and yet I think Rick [Berman] and Brannon [Braga] did, you know, a good job. It's... there's a lot going on, you know. You've got a lot of history here, so it's not just... in a funny way, it's kind of become not just about ending our show, you know. It's about, kind of, bringing this 18 years, starting with NEXT GEN -- and STAR TREK on television back to the '60s -- kind of wrapping it up, and kind of putting all the pieces in place, so that everybody can kind of understand them, you know. So, you know, I think with that it's a tall order, and I think they've done... I think fans are going to be... I think, you know, I hope, that they're going to be happy."

It would have been better if it was allowed to continue all 7 seasons and berman and brannon would have gotten better respect from alot of people, and the episodes would have been much more understanding to the original time period of that era along with the tv ratings. But to my opinion berman and brannon did okay to make the show go as long as it did and im happy with it.
