Padme (to Anakin): Is that a lighsabre, or are you just pleased to see me?

(note: I know this never really happened... well not in any of the films George Lucas made, anyhow.)

Watching Episodes I and II this morning. Will watch Episode III at least once today, followed by IV, V, and VI all in the same day!

"Besides, your senses aren't that attuned to my young apprentice." (Obi-Wan)
"And yours are?" (Anakin)
"Possibly." (Obi-Wan) (Episode II exchange)

"What about Padme?" (Anakin)
[Obi-Wan sees Padme climbing up on column] "She seems to be on top of things." (Episode II exchange)

Didn't we already say... all three of those earlier?

Oni-Wan: Anakin, I have trained you since you were a small boy. I have taught you everything I know, and you have become a far greater Jedi than I could ever hope to be.

My english teacher told me that repetition was a powerful persuasive technique, so I'm just trying out what I learnt.

From Episode III (Alternate each line, Anakin, then Obi-Wan):
"I sense Count Dooku."
"I sense a trap."
"What are we going to do next?"
"Spring the trap."
--Got to be one of my FAVORITE lines!

I think my favorite funny one of Obi-Wan's from III is

"Have you noticed the shields are still up?"

Just the way he says it.

"Wait a minute. How did this happen? We're smarter than this." (Obi-Wan)
"Apparently not." (Anakin)

"Good is a point of view ((or matter of opinion)), Anakin"- Darth Sidius

"(the child is his, isn't it?) I'm so sorry"- Obi Wan. When he says that, he so does not sound sorry! He says it so casually!

((It is POV))

"I am the Senate." - Palpatine, III. Lucas should have to pay the deceased French King Louis XIV royalties for stealing his line, "I am the State"!

"Je suis l'tat" was what he actually said (Actually, that's not all of what he said; the whole thing goes "Je suis l'tat. L'tat est moi" = "I am the State, the State is me") but since it means the same thing translated. Mind you not as many people would know what you meant if you put it in french I suppose lol. Hooray though, it seems my learning French did actually come in useful!
