Respectfully, if you are talking about the battleship post, well its an older ship back around the kirk era, they tried new designs but it didnt last.

Yeah that ship isn't cannon but yes im sure the hull design might have been dabled with back in the 80's

I think that the Sovereign is better because it is cooler loking and is more elagant in shape.

The galaxy Class is the best, it looks the best. The Sovereign class looks too much like a warship for my likening

I agree, im not too kean on the sovereign class. Plus its too small to be the federation flagship IMHO

Only to an extent do I disagree. During the 2370's, the Federation endured another advancement by the Borg, the Dominion Wars, and an incursion from the Remans. If anything, having a battleship instead of a front-line explorer as the flagship of the fleet would make sense during those times.
