What kind of hardware nowdays doesn't involve programming? Don't you use VHDL or some derivative?

Yeah i use VHDL some of the time. But my skill is fixing and build and rewireing and improving computers.[/quote]

Sorry. I think of "doing hardware" as designing chips and/or circuits and/or printed circuit boards (I've done the last two).

^^ I design chips from time to time if i can get the time in but i prefer makeing cool fans and working on Hard Drives and stuff like that.

I think designing mobo's would be fun yet terribly frustrating...yeah you put the northbridge here and the southbridge there....and oh yeah put the SIO there put the socket there.....some slots there and uh....ok lets map it all now capacitor resistor and a moo moo here and a moo moo there
