Does this disturb anyone else? I don't mean this particular artical, but the fact that politics have become so entrenched in everyday life that now everything has a subtle meaning towards it? I never dreamed of the idea that SW was political.

It's always been political, just really parodies of history.

I think it's all a little far fetched, but show us your PROOF rm,

Call it...intuition

Btw, parodies of history:
Palpatine-Hitler
Palpatine-Napoleon
Palpatine "I am the Senate." - French King Louis XIV "I am the State"
Anakin (born of a virgin, prophesized as like a "savior" who will bring balance to the Force, etc) - Christianity/Jesus (born of a virgin, prophesized as a savior who will save the Earth)
Jedi Order (ie Jedi Code) - Knights of Middle Ages (ie Chivalry)
And many more. I'm going to be writing a small report on these soon...

After watching the movie, I found no real parallels to Bush. Nothing at all. But because there was so much contreversy with Anakin's line, it stuck out like a sore thumb when he said it.

I didn't find any parallels, but I did notice an attack. And that was it. And that was all.
