I don't know if you can say that, cuz each side looks at the other differently, and hate is a feeling therefor not objective therefor you can't ever know if it's equal or not...

People in this world...

Well, I give everyone a chance. Your judging them because they're so white?!

Well, I hope God judges...

Oh, never mind... you guys think life is a game, when it's not. God's going to intervine and it's not going to be pretty.

Well, in the US...

-Liberals would rather see our government fail, instead of admitting that a Republican is taking huge bi-partisan strides to make it better.
-Liberals would rather see issues decided by a handful of powerful non-elected arbitrators in the courts, than letting America vote on it.
-Liberals let people sue everyone without reason, and let our hard working first-class medical system fail, due to exorbitant insurance costs, rather than pushing for ANY judicial reform.
-Liberals want to take the strongest healthcare system in the world, responsible for the most important medical discoveries in the 20th century, and universalized it based on the failed systems of Europe and Canada which have been second-rate quality for years; all in the name of fairness and socialism.
-Liberals don't beleive minorities are smart enough to succeed on their own, they think that they need handouts.
-Liberals preach tolerance and respect, but if you have an opposing viewpoint, or any opinions about minorities or gays, you're a racist, and tolerance for your opinion goes out the window.
-Liberals like to redefine words, important words, like MARRIAGE.
-Liberals don't beleive that minorities are capable of handling firearms, so they pass stronger gun laws in urban areas, than elsewhere.
-Liberals don't beleive that Americans are responsible enough to carry Guns at all. Rather, they outlaw them, making it so only the outlaws have gun; even though all statistics show that areas with higher legal gun carrying populations, have lower crime rates.
-Liberals would rather kill a baby, or a mentally ill person; than a Deer.
-Liberals would rather kill a baby, or a mentally ill person; than a murderer.
-Liberals would rather kill a baby, or a mentally ill person; than an international terrorist or corrupt world leader.
-Liberals stand for a dismantling of traditional morality, and want a rebirth of the '60s sexual and immoral revolutions...
-Liberals are afraid to use a gun when they need to, they'd rather turn a blind eye to the suffering of 22 million.
-Liberals would rather see America get attacked again, than allowing us to forcefully remove information from captured terrorists.
-Liberals use inappropriate constitutional loopholes to delay the Democratic process and stall our government, when judicial nominees don't go there way. Even though conservatives let them get away with nominating a FAR-leftist (Ginsburg) to the court, when Clinton has his choice.
-Liberals would rather bring EVERYONE down to the lowest common denominator, rather than allowing someone to succeed greatly on their own.
-Liberals don't feel that people can succeed without copious amounts of government interference.
-Liberals would rather see thousands of workers get laid off, rather than helping encouraging and offering incentives to American industries to keep them employed.
-Liberals are more concerned about saving an ice sheet and some seals in Alaska than trying to lower gas-prices for the working-class American.
-Liberals slap frivilous emmissions laws on business, causing them to have to lay off workers.
-Liberals want to watch a dwindling social security platform disintegrate, rather than helping a Republican save it.
-Liberals just plain don't think you can figure it out yourself.

I could go on...

Saving an ice sheet in Alaska is more important than lowering gas prices. It is more important to save the environment than let people have a few more pennies in their pocket. And compared to what other parts of the world pay for gas, you're paying peanuts.

and compared to teh rest of the world, our government is very conservative.

Maybe that's why we're paying "peanuts"... Peanuts are still too much.

You are not paying too much. If you are not prepared to pay reasonable prices for gas then you should not have a car. Use the bus, walk, bike. That's what I do, and I get from A-Z perfectly fine, thank you. Getting to and from school, I bike or walk approz 10 kilometres.

But some of the other Liberal stuff, I disagree with, like abortion and euthanasia over legalised hunting. Legalised hunting is fine, as long as a species does not suffer (or become extinct) from lack of prey etc. under it.

I only agree with the death sentence when you are completely sure that this person is completely guilty of their crimes. All rapists should be killed.
Corrupt world leaders and terrorists should be tortured and then killed. Prisons should be harsher, so that people suffer badly and will commit less crimes.

I think that contraceptive should be taught in schools but only after you have greatly reinforced the virtue of abstinence, because their will always be people who do not stick with abstinence. There always have been, and there always will be.

I agree with free healthcare, but I also agree with people paying for better healthcare if they want it.

People should be allowed to succeed on their own. It's called survival of the fittest.
If I lived in a country where the government constantly interfered, I think I would hold the leader hostage until they left.
The people of a country should be allowed to vote on any change happening in the country. That's how demnocracy works.

Just some of my opinions. And I still believe that saving the environment is very important. And if that makes me a "good for nothing tree hugging hippy", then .
Peace out!
Ruth

I do have to agree with lightningboy but I myself can be friends with a liberal cause I don't let politics run my life.

But he is right though.

Oh, I have many liberal friends. Makes for some good arguments. Let's make this clear, my post only reffers to the furthest of the leftists opinions. I can totally respect guys like Joe Lieberman, Zell Miller, Dick Gephardt, and even Tony Blair even though, by my standards, they're all liberal.

As for point A to point B public transportation; that really only works for urban, and moderate to high density suburban citizens. What about the guy who lives 50 miles out of the city, because he can't afford a house closer to his work. What about our countries truckers? Their livelyhood is at stake. The United States is a huge country, and beleive it or not, it's not relatively densely populated. We depend on low gas prices to get from one state to another, to get from one city to another ect. There aren't many placese close enough to walk to unless you live in a city.

I don't live in America (ok, that should be pretty obvious if you look at my location, my English spelling...) so being Liberal actually is more normal over here. It works in Europe. Whether it would work elsewhere is another matter. We're less commercialist over here (although we're becoming more so) yet we do agree with a lot of socialist principles. Different countries have different politics, and it would be no fun if we were all the same.

Doesn't stop me disagreeing with things though

First, I agree with your statements about Liberals up above, for the most part.
Second, Lieberman is a moderate and Miller's a Conservative. They are NOT Liberals--if you call them liberals, then they're OLD STYLE Liberals.
Third, we don't hate Liberals. I don't. Almost ALL of my friends are Liberals. I see it as the other way around, if you look at the rhetoric of the Democratic Leadership and compare that to the rhetoric of the Republican leadership.
