I though it was in 2218,
but Enterprise shows it took place earlier

You'll find that Enterprise screwed up everything with the Klingons, especially first contact.

You'll find that Enterprise screwed up everything with the Klingons, especially first contact. |
What's unfortunate is how Enteprise has made it's way to being cannon.

I agree. And how they made those Klingons look like. They looked different then the TOS Klingons.

They explained in enterprise why the Klingon lost their ridges. I thinki t is a great coverup. Give those guys a break, all this time Question about why they didn't have ridges and expecting it too be answered. They finally do and everybody gets angry.
