Maybe we have no business there.

So you're saying we should wait until we're attacked to make a move? We have bussiness there because nucleare weapons are dangerous to the entire world in the wrong hands.

That's EXACTLY what zero's saying, Founder, and that's sadly what so many people believe. I just like to compare it to that AOL virus commercial where they talk about wanting viruses to come and then stopping them before they do. They're just like those people who want the viruses to come, and THEN something to be done. Not good.

I don't remember the current statistics, even though I recently saw them on the news, but I do know that the UK is one of the "nuclear states."

Britain has access to nukes. I don't like it, and support the CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament). The USA is the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons against another country in a time of war. I wonder how that'll look in the history books?

No.. not exactly. I'm saying we shouldn't be invading all these countries because of threats. If the countries leaders are Tyrants.. oh well.. we have bigger issues to deal with. What did Iraq solve? It didn't solve anothing it just brought more chaos. Why don't we actually do something good... like help people in africa who are being slaughtered because of what tribe or whatever they belong to. And if need be... go and dismantle or sieze the weapons.

Technically, Iraq is now a fledgling democracy with a duly-elected government. Although insurgents still prowl the country, the post-invasion Iraq situation has had the curious effect of stabilizing a lot of the Middle East--yes, it is still an area of turmoil, but overall the situation is more stable than it was prior to the U.S. invasion. For example, international pressure has finally forced Syria to leave Lebanon, and Palestine and Israel are making the first steps toward piece.

Yes, we do have them. There's some on our submarines, and I think there is a few land based ones, but not sure.

I guess that depends on what you believe. Did they save more lives than they took? From all that I've read on it, I'd say yes. So, currently the history books aren't looking down upon it.

It's already in the history books. Read one and tell us "how it looks".

How do you propose to "seize" weapons from their owners without "invading" their country? And wasn't "seizing or dismantling" weapons one of the reasons for "invading" Iraq? Finally, the repercussions of the US occupation of Iraq will take years to become evident. Don't judge it prematurely.

Too many conflicting views in the history books of today. We're still too close to the events to look at it objectively.

This just in: we are IN WWIII ALREADY. It's just a different kind of world war. And no, I don't think a massive world war would occur if we invaded N.K. and LIBERATED its people, also getting rid of a major world security threat.
