Oh yes because making your charecter say one very unimportant and insignificant thing has really stopped you from posting as your charecter.....

Yes it has cuz they are commands for ME and no matter how insignificant it doen't mean that you can take over because it is insignificant!
It still shows that im active and i can add things to develope my character. EVER thought of that EH!? it's tis priciple of the thing! you play your character and i'll play mine!

However, yes it is Godmodding. Sorry, but it is. Minor Godmodding but it is. -HOWEVER- I'd have agree that it might not be. As a starship is huge. There are alot of people there. And your character can't be the -only- helmsmen. It would have been godmodding if he had mentioned your characters name.

However, it is everyone in the RPs duty to keep it going. And to post more then one line. You have to give people something to post off of. I usually try to post at least two paragraphs of six lines, involving my character acting in a way that would affect others characters. But -wouldn't- be controlling their character. I like to end my posts with statements to other people's characters or actions to them. So they have something to post back from.

And remember, detail is your friend. ^__^

I knew a really annoying girl who power played all the time. All her characters were crappy little weak pregant girls. It was so annoying. One time I was a werewolf and I knocked her to the ground and pinned her and she wrote that her character pushed me off her and threw me against a wall. It was so lame. I brought her down again and bit her on the arm and she pushed me off again even though I was supposed to be three times bigger than her and she had no weapons and attacking her was the only way to make the story go anywhere. And then she said I was Godmodding by attacking her in the first place even though she said I could attack her!!!

If i read that, then it is godmodding, but you were continuing to push her down again. If you had stopped and said to her that she was godmodding, then you might even had to post here

Although it may be unneccessary to respond to an argument that was going on 5-6 years ago, that is not godmodding at all. Because:
1. No name was mentioned
2. I'm pretty sure an RPG creator can do watever they want to their rpg... It wouldn't have been around to complain about if they didn't make it...
3. Man the _ up!! One tiny action is not grounds to get ticked!
4. If you didn't post for 3-4 pages, a tiny, insignificant plot change is allowed.
5. As in 1, how do you know it was YOUR character? You may have switched off-duty after your shift ended.
