yea when we first got on the bus getting off of the airplane, to drive to london, it was CRAAAAZY driving on the left side of the road.

The other thing too is that when you cross the street, you have to look the other way first! That took a little getting used to!

*slaps Dirt* Oy I'm good, so's Sammie and Johny

Funny thing is, we've been driving on the left hand side of the road for longer than many places have had roads... people riding on horses would pass on the left because it made it easier to fight with your right hand if necessary...

I just realized it not so weird they Drive on the left side, but they get out of the bus on the left side too! How wierd is that? I can't even imagine that, i've always seen people get off the Bus on the right side.

and Seven of nine, explain this:
If driving on the left side is so logical, why are you the only ones in europe doing it?

Other strange thing is that you open and close things the other way around too, like screws and taps. what is that all about?

I will tell you one thing. From what I've heard, I LOVE British humor Hitchhiker's Guide, quotes that I've heard from that, especially.

Were origional

All in all i would have to say that i love england. It's FAR FROM PERFECT but still i wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Most of the time it's horrible in the day. The sky is fillied with dull clouds as far as the eye can see. It's horrible. Plus you can get alot of british people that are nice but I HATE CHAVS! They're probably the worst part of england.

But i must admit, it is a truly wonderfull place. In spring and summer it is almost if not as beautiful as Bajor

Also, ive only been to london once. I went to the V & A art Museum on an art trip. From what i saw of london, i was a very nice place. I definately want to see more of it

The one thing I don't like about England is the Royal Family. They way too sensationalize. If Harry does something that a Prince would not normally do the Tabliods would put up headlines like "Harry A Bad Prince" It would be all over the national news and flat out annoying.

Other than that everything is fine.

It goes with the whole celebrity thing I brought up in my first post. The English monarchy doesn't serve any purpose other than as a symbol. Due to the increase of media technology, they've been elevated to the status of "celebrity"--and most celebrities are the source of scandal.

Yeah, respect innit! (the bus I get home is full of chavs and *beep* monkeys (chain smokers))

I would say we are quite polite in the world. I've got an article on my wall that I'll go and get which is all about what the rest of Europe thinks of the UK.

Quote:
A. Which country's people do you like the most?
1.Italy 2.Spain 3.France 4.UK

B.Which country's people do you like the least?
1.Germany 2.France 3.Russia 4.UK

C.Which Europeans have the best sense of humor?
1.UK 2.Italy 3.France

D. Where is the best food?
1. Itlay 2.France 3.Greece Joint 8th UK

E. Who's got the sexiet people?
1. Itlay 2.Spain 3.France joint 7th UK

F. Which Europeans are the rudest
1.Germany 2.France 3.UK

G.Which Europeans are the most efficient?
1.Germany 2.Swiss 3.UK

H. Which country would you most like to live in?
1.Italy 2.Spain 3.France joint 4th UK

I.Which county has contributed most to the world?
1.UK 2.Germany 3.France

J.Which is your favourite city?
1.Paris joint 2nd London and Rome joint 3rd Barcelona and prague

Wow, we're unsexy and have rubbish food! But that's because we brought back food from all over the world and made it our own. Fancy a curry anyone?

I see Theresa likes sheep... not much else in Wales, but it's nice if you like constant rain, and sheep

Nah, only joking, I want to go back and actually get up to the Jubilee Tower. I've been up when I was younger but didn't make it last time because of the weather (and I was in a buggy the first time, so that doesn't count ).

Europe doesn't really like us or hate us, we're just there. It's not like we're in the middle and getting in the way all the time, we're on the outskirts...

England is rainy, but it can be quite sunny too. Good cricket weather because of the warmth coming from the gulf stream. If you look on a globe at all the other countries on the same latitude as us, they're a lot colder

well, we sure are. You are right about that , but perhaps Belgium is more on your latitude than Holland. We are higher up.

Some parts of England are apparently on the same lattitude as Norway. That's what my old geography teacher told me!
England has lots of cute animals too!

That's a fox, a dormouse and a barn owl. Sweet!! I think they should reintroduce wolves, because they have to kill deer here as they have no natural enemy, and wolves would make camping a lot more fun.
