i wore my contacts last night when i went to see the Lion King broadway show and it's SOOO nice to see everything so clearly - driving, trees... everything!! I had dance before the show, so naturally i put them in before hand, and omg I COULD SEE EVERYTHING!! When we were doing pirouettes (Turns) in the center, i did a quadruple turn -- aka 4 in a row!!!!!!!!!!!! I could see what I was spotting SOOO clearly and i think that helped.. haha... what do ya know?! YAY!

Anyways, i had to share my excitement about benefiting from my contacts!

/\ I get dizzy when I pirouette because I can't make my neck do that twisty thing.

I like my glasses. I hated most of the ones in the shop so I made my mum buy me ones that cost 105 . My brother said I should get John Lennon style tinted ones, but mum wouldn't buy them.

I look weird without my glasses, kinda pretty, which is why boys like it more when I wear them. I'm less of a distraction that way. My mum had contacts and she got a bad infection a few weeks back and almost went blind... it was quite funny until she tripped over the couch.

Contact lense fluid gets rid of acne too.

That "neck twisty thing" is called "Spotting". OMG, i'd die without it. It takes practice when you're much younger and learning how to do it, but it's not something i think about anymore. 1000% muscle memory, and has been for about 10 years lol!

I wear glasses, have done since I was 3. I don't mind them, but I look prettier without them, so I want contacts to wear for special occasions. I got free glasses, but that's cos I went to this fantastic opticians where only the designer glasses had to be paid for (if you had a NHS voucher, which I do). I've got two pairs now, one lilac, one silver, with only the top rim. I'm due for another eye test (so I get another voucher! Yay!) so I'm going to try and get contacts, since my vision doesn't seem to have changed much in the last couple of years.

I wear nothing. But I am a sucker for very expensive shades. I am into the really big Gucci's and Chanel's at the moment. All my other ones are pricey ones that fit my face well.
