|
I've always been a fan of the unexpected, and of satire.
Some of the funniest things i've ever seen are in Laural and Hardy skits. The pure slapstick they used was amazing. I also like spoof movies; my favorite being "Hot Shots: Part Deux", on TV "Married with Children", "Family Guy" (to an extent), and the (now cancelled) animated version "Dilbert" crack me up, but my favorite was "Newsradio". Phil Hartman was amazing, and some of the satire on that show was hilarious.
I really despise lude and dark humor; this is why I think Family Guy is kinda in the middle, when they hit on something funny, they nail it, but at times they're just so immature and lame.
What makes you laugh?

I like a lot of humor. dark Humor is nice, like South Park and Family Guy. American humor too, like Beavis and Butthead and the Simpsons.
I also like Brittish humor, Like Monty Python and Mr. Bean.
I like sarcasm of course, like stargate
I like comedians as Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy, Steve Martin (not always), matt Leblanc, Jennifer Aniston, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Goldblum, Will Ferrell, Leah remini, Meg Ryan.
But don't like comedians like Leslie Nielson(they can shoot that guy for all i care), Jerry Seinfeld, Chris farley, David spade.
That enough? I like a lot more humor though.

I like Stargate and Star Trek. I do not like the Family Guy. I like Jim Carey, Queen Latifa, RB, just movies with lots of humor longs as it catches my eye. I like the Lethal Weapons movies, they were funny especially Mel Gibson. He made me laugh.

"Family Guy", "The Simpsons"... I also like black humour, as in dark humour, not the race ^^

I love dry humor. And the best part is, a lot of people don't get it, which makes it all the funnier.
I can't stand the kind of stuff of Jim Carey and guys like that though. It's so cheap.

I like witty/dry humour. It can be satire or not, but I have a tendency to like more complicated jokes and subtle humour. Monty Python, Stargate SG-1, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Farscape, etc, those shows have a lot of humour like that. I do not particularly enjoy more immature forms of humour (eg; obsession with flatulence).
I don't watch The Simpsons, nor Family Guy (because I don't find them funny) but I do watch Futurama. Another TV show I enjoy is Dilbert, it's a shame that they adapted it because it was a great version of the comic strip, which I get emailled to me every day.
When it comes to actual comedy, I'm a fan of Royal Canadian Air Farce and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Both are home-grown CBC shows that poke fun at Canada, America, and other world issues. ("Let's all vote for Stockwell Day to change his name to 'Doris.'")

OMG, I love those shows too!! Sooooo funny. Newsradio and Dilbert are so my favorite.
I like sarcastic humor too. Of the humor in shows I like Will & Grace, with the really weird sense of humor. Love that.
I like Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy too. OMG, Jim is my absolute favorite. They did an interview with him on MTV, and he was everything but serious. Cracking a joke about everything. But it was sooo funny! I loved it. I saw a show of Eddie Murphy, one of his first ones. Don't know what's it called, but I thought it was really good.

Dry and/or sarcastic humor are my favorites. I can find most things funny, but I draw a big, bright red line at things like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama...and anything like it. It's usually gross or just random dumbness (In my opinion ) and it huuuuuuurts to watch it.

Mmm, British humour, Stargateish humour, aaand satire, but not always. Subtle, dry, and sometimes dark humour, yes. What I dislike is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air-ish crap. Not funny at all, imo. Just dumb.
