Are you kidding?! That was sweet right from the beginning. It was obvious they paid attention to how the original series portrayed the alternate universe.

They did change the music, Closed captions call it (Warlike music) Quite interesting really, Liked how they showed alternate missions and such

Instead of the theme being exploration and doing something "new", it was about battle and conquest, showing the development of the Terran Empire.

It's too bad a mini-series won't develop as a result of this rather interesting idea. I was rocked and impressed with the way they showed how the Terran Empire developed over the centuries.

I doubt it would survive a full seven seasons, but maybe a 1-season mini-series might have a chance of doing alright.
