What are some of your favorite commercials?

There is a new Dunkin' Donuts/Red Sox commercial that's wicked funny, It has Theo Epstein (Sox GM), and Johnny Damon in it. Right now, JD is known for his hair. In the commercial, Theo walks in on JD, combing out his wig, while standing there, bald on top, Anyway, you'd have to see it, because it sounds dumb in writing, but JD has to pay Theo off with coolattas from DD,

And those stupid Pepto commercials, Heart burn, indigestion, nausea, upset stomach, etc... to the tune of the Macarena....

The Burger King ones with all the guys in the office.

"Well, you guys... I guess by now you've noticed that I've updated your Angus Beef to the Western Angus Beef. This is because it's our last time eating all together... I have to fire one of you."

"how do you know which one of us you're going to fire?"

"... I'm thinking of a number. What's your number?"

"Uh...4"

"You're fired."

i just dug up a really old american Commercial that is one of the best. Its the one where the football player het body checked (do you call it that with football) and then the Coach asks him too see if he is okay:

Coach: "He, are you okay? where are you?"

Player; "I'm on the field"

Coach; "Who am i?"

Player: "You're the Coach!"

Coach: "And who are you?"

Player: "I'm Batman"

Coach: "Go sit on the bench"

Player: "But you don't understand, i'm batman."

i almost peed in my pants!

Yeah! I saw that for the first time yesterday and loved it! I like the one with all the people in the cafe trying to be posh so that they can get cheaper car insurance.

One of my favourite commercials is the Nestea one with the scholarly man describing what happens in places where people don't have Nestea. Then he says, "They do have Nestea in Switzerland," followed by the man falling off a cliff, "but not here in particular."

in my opinion the best commercial ever is a Dutch one.(got a feeling i told it before though...)

Its starts with a black dude with a wlakoman on mopping up the floor in front of a huge fish tank(feel it coming?). He then swings on the beat and in his enthousiasm he prods the mop stick against the glass making a crack. He is chocked when he sees the crack is spreading and he tries too stop it by holding his hands on it(he does it very funy). He looks behind him and his boss on some sort of electical cart nods calmly and drives too a phone. The guy calls multiple glass fabricators and calmly and patiently asks them about pricess and if they have a piece of glass standing of about 4 by 8 meters. Then comes the dialogue:

"You only have blurred glass?" He shouts too the black dude "They only have blurred glass!". The guy nods Yes with a frightening look on his face as he sees a shark passing the window. "Nah, they will notice that emmidiately." and the guy apologizes on the phone and says it doesn't matter, he will just coninue searching. Meanwhile the guy sees the huge shark coming right at him with mouth open while the glass is breaking apart further and further.....

Hope i told it right when you see it you'll know why this is the best one ever, the guy is hilarious

Perhaps you can find it on the internet with English translation, its the best Commercial ever. (its about the golden pages BTW, a phone book for companies)

I will tell you that the only good comercial on TV is Geico Car Insurance and Jack In The Box.

All the other ones are just annoying or pointless.

I Am Canadian.

(Only Canadians will get it)

To all non-Canadians, its a series of incredibly funny beer commercials for "Molson Canadian." Funniest I have ever seen in my life!

"Beaver! Attack!"
"Nooodoobtabootit!"
"What? No one shaves during the playoffs!"
"MY NAME IS JOE! AND I! AM! CANADIAN!"

Since 1989. Further interesting tidbits I just found out: the Energizer Bunny actually started as a parody of the Duracell Bunny, which was a commercial for Duracell in Europe. The Energizer Bunny commericals don't air in Europe due to the status of the Duracell Bunny, and vice versa for the U.S.

Yeah! Those are excellent. And they also aired in the U.S., I think (but Canadians would still probably be the only ones to 'get' it).

Gosh. I'm an American, and I "get" them... Must be because I'm so far north,

The Geico chipmunks are classic, Squirrels, w/e.

The only Geico mascots with which I am familiar is that cool Geico Gecko with the British accent.

Speaking investment commercials, I love the ING Direct commericals--the ones with the guy, not the girl. They are just very odd and unusual. Even though I like the commercials, I find the Air Farce Parody (click on the "Ing Bank" clip) to be absolutely hilarious.

' Well, Hello! '

Typical Geico Gecko words.

My favorite Geico.s are...

"Geico.com. So easy, a caveman could use it."
"Hey..." says the caveman holding the boom mic., "not cool, man"
"Sorry, I didn't see you there..."

or

"And just an aside to the people of Detriot... I didn't know that was meatloaf."

The All-State commercials are funnier than they have any right to be, due to the 24 connection.

Every week during 24, people come up with alternate All-State slogans for Dennis Haybert to say that relate to the current episode. (It's a shame they'll never really be made.....some of them are great.)

One of my favorites:

Quote:

You're driving along. Suddenly, a flaming piece of Air Force One crushes the roof of your car: Just like the terrorists intended. It's called a 'Crash and Burn'. Fortunately, All-State keeps CTU on retainer to hunt down the people who would perpetrate this fraud. That's All-State's stand. Are you in good hands?

The most pathetic commercials are Captial One commericals. They are basically saying if you don't have a Captain One Credit Card an army of barbarians would plunder you to death.

Also those Verizon Commericals that are flat out annoying. I feel like kicking the crap out of that guy who keeps saying "Can you here me now? Good!" Very annoying....

I saw a funny one for Volvic mineral water. It has all these cavemen dragging along a rock and one of them looks at the bottle top of his volvic and goes "hmm" and then you see him carving. You think he's making a wheel and he sticks a stick through it and makes it into a pole dancing podium. It was rather funny.
