Having just watched it for the first time I'd say yes!, having said that I must add that I like both show, very funny

I don't agree

The only real similiarity is that the main cast is female and it's funny.

Sex was more about male and female relationships and Housewives is more about the lives of the folks involved.

I don't like Desperate Housewives as much as Sex And The City. Sex and the City was alot more witty and funny, DH is dull compared to it.

I don't agree, I like DHW better than SATC!

Just much more intrige, more weird things, it looks more like a detective. I like that better.

well, I must admit that I only watched DHW cus Merel was always on about it, But havin seen it I like it! regards SITC.. I'd seen a lot already.. I remember thinking how refreshing it appeared 2 start with!

I think "Desperate Housewives" is a bit... lame.
It feels like nothing really happens, and I don't like to see people get into embarresing situations.
But it's still good thou... and I still watch it.

Sex in the city is funnier imo, but I rarly watch it thou. :?
