I have a feeling that I will make some enemies with this post , but who cares! The President is one of the finest people I know of!And at this time , we need him more than we ever have . By the way , a President has people to write his speeches . I don't think that many Presidential speeches are actually written by the President . I have the utmost respect for President Bush. He is the first President that I can remember who can quote Scripture and truly mean what he is saying .God bless America .

We are a nation that has had a major disaster can't we stop the fighting and the petty bickering and just get along were spose to be fightining the enemy not each other am I right or wrong.

First of all, I don't go to anyone's side, but only for my pure opinions. You can blame me for my opinions, but I don't care. I think Bush is doing a good job so far, but it is not enough. We want more action instead of formality and speeches. Compare him to those people who sacrficed their life to save other injured people. I am not saying that he should, but there are a lot of "ordinary people" who have done more, way more. Regarding on the speeches, he should make those speeches because if somebody else does, HOW can we be sure that he means it from the bottom of his heart? I don't want to say that he is a stupid president because he won't be a president if he were stupid, it's just he lacks some skills and needs improvement on his leadership.

For Natira, you said don't take this personally, but you were the first one to take it. First, you said that my post was pathetic, that obviously showed how you were hurt, you could have said it nicer, and the second one, you were all hitting ( a different kind of hit) on Transwarp13. If a reply is posted that opposes your opinions, voice out your opinion, but no put-downs please.

By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. It seems like you are trying to pick a fight, and that really isn't necessary is it? And just a fair warning, in a verbal battle, J is quite lethal, though I will try to keep her from responding to you, because as I see it, it isn't worth the effort.

The topic is worth it, the post, the one that you quoted, was what was pathetic. My point was showing how people are saying things that they aren't sure of, and making Americans look stupid. And from the way you talk, you believe the lies you've heard.

Look, all. Everyone knows more about the situation now than they did when this topic was started, so any posts made then are certainly not worth even commenting on now.

I know back on Sept. 11th, I was sitting in my RA's dorm room, watching the news with some other people from my floor, when we heard the pres was jumping from site to site to stay safe. No one disagreed with that course then, but we still made fun of him for various reasons (like checking his speach every 3 words).

Now, however, I don't think anyone I know would say he is the loser we originally thought. So its really not worth continuing this thread with more argument.
