Star Wars vs Star Trek: DS9

It has come to my attention recently that people seem to have a craveing for SW/ST topics on this site lately.

I first thought of this a few weeks ago when all my friends and i really talked about was starwars because of the new film coming out. One night we even all got together at one of our houses and had a sleepover and all night we watched starwars. That was all we watched and all we talked about.

I didn't mind this but i didn't really like the fact that there was no place for star trek in that house that night. I understood why because it was a starwars night but the guy that held it is actually a huge DS9 fan also (Not as much as me though) So i though. Hhmmm, which do the people prefer star wars or star trek.

I thought to myself. Which would be the best series to rival Star Wars and in my opinion it's Star Trek: Deep Space Nine so here we are. Vote for which one you prefer

Deep Space Nine is a 176 Hour Saga
Started 1993 - 1999 (Now 13 Years Old)

Star Wars is a 9 hour Saga
Started 1977 - Present (Now 29 Years Old)

(Im my opinion, i dont really compare Star Wars & Star Trek but im not like alot of people)

DSN is a hole lot better just because it longer. but star wars offers a lot of games and other products. so i am going to go with DSN because i like the music and the graphics are a little better than the orignal Star Wars movies.

I prefer DS9. I just think that the general idea of it is much better. It makes feel good about yourself and it makes you dream of that future possibility.

actually it's more like 41 minutes. No when you hear interviews about DS9 etc etc the makers of it are always going on about how it's a unique 176 hour saga. Thats where i got it from.

I think DS9 is better than Star Wars even though I like Star Wars a little.

Star Wars. They have Jedi, Sith, and the Death Star. I never really liked DS9

Blancie? Don't degrade something without any premises. Doesn't add to the argument.

Though, I do like DS9 over Star Wars. DS9 has a far better replay value... even though SW (provided you disregard Episode III) was, and is still, a stroke of epic brilliance.
