|
sorry to the mods, i didnt know where to put this thread.. so feel fre to move it..
anywho..
im calling all techno-dweebs out there.. the xmen forum http://www.x-menforum.com i'm in has been hacked by some guy named dung.. dunguen-something-or-other! i googled him and found out that he's a chinese student and hes got his own chinese forum and his own website on how to hack. (but i cant read it properly coz its mostly in chinese) his webpage: http://www.freewebs.com/black_rose_vn/Vip.htm
he's destroyed the lounge and picture threads (the most popular) in my xmen forum by pretending to be an admin guy that hasnt been around for months. we know it's not really our admin guy coz our admin guy speaks perfect english, while this guy can hardly string together a proper sentence! our other mods havent been around for a week now, so we think that maybe he's blocked them from logging on too! now he wont leave.. we're threatening him (probably a bad idea) but he still wont leave! for F** sake's! he's had his fun now i dont know why he wont leave!
so im askin, does ANYONE know how to hack into a forum so i can get rid of this guy! even if u dont wana post it here in this forum, PLEASE PM or email me! ([email protected])

Just keep deleting him, he will soon get bored and leave. I know, I been there.. But I don't know how to get rid just keep deleting him off your site. Someone once told me, they will get bored and stop. I know it is so annoying isn't it?

So you cannot log in anymore eighter? If you can you might want too try and block his IP adress. as a moderator you can do that. But im sure the moderators and Admins of this forum can help you better.

I did that once and it don't work cause a guy who was starting trouble on my site came back . So I say he get bored and leave. Have you tried reporting abuse? Get ahold to the forum you got the site from and report it.

the thing is guys.. im NOT a mod! i finally got a hold of our mod and he says he cant do anything coz the hacker guy is pretending to be admin.. which is higher than a mod.. our mod's gona try get a hold of the other admin ppl (who havent been on our forum for months now).. but im guessing then that i cant do anything unless i have admin prioritiess...

Allright. I shot off an email to the freewebs guys, telling them what he's doing, his website, and the site he's hacking. Hopefully, I'll get an email back from them. I'll put the reply up here when I get it.
But seriously, guys like this reallly p*ss me off. (A mod can change that if you think it's too strong). They did it to me once, and if I ever see them doing this, I try to stop them. My suggestion: Wait for an email from freewebs, and see if they do anything.

Deleting the person's username probably wouldn't work as they can just hack another one or can create their own one. Banning an IP wouuldn't work either as you can get proxies that get around that and if he can hack he'd know about that kind of thing. But then you can't do any of that anyway. Not sure what you can do apart from report him to his ISP if you know it.

So, they deleted his website. I was hoping they'd do a tad bit more....
