Oh, and if you want a paint job done, make my mum do it

I learned that the singer in the worship band likes Barenaked Ladies-esque riffs on the piano. Not...that I'd tell him I was playing BNL riffs.

I assimilated the information that 15 month old children are much harder work than 12 month old children!

Also waking up in the night to see to above mentioned child means you're absolutely knackered after being up for only 2 hours... (BTW- it's 16 hours since I got up at 6am with little Sammie... and I'm seriously thinking of going to bed, and investing in a laptop so I can surf the net in bed )

I learnt from Seven of Nine that children sound like hard work. I don't think I'll intentionally be having any for quite a while! (I'm only 15)

DON'T! Not till you've completed your education- I got pregnant at 16 (it wasn't intentional, but it wasn't exactly an accident either) and it means my education is going on the back burner for a while. I'm going to try and do a 3 hour a week course for 10 weeks... see how that goes. I best ring up on Monday... next week the courses start

Does your toddler have a scottish accent? That would be adorable!

I learnt that I procrastinate too much and I need to let my spelling catch up with my use of long words

/\ I think that applies to all of us

I learnt that late at night I get scots and scousers confused, which could be a problem if I ever go anywhere outside of Slough, or if I get lost in Manchester.
This site is addictive. I suffer from withdrawral symptoms if I don't go on it

I don't think you'd confuse the Scouse and Scottish accents if you heard them... Scouse and Irish? Maybe. Geordie and Scottish? Quite likely, if you're a Southerner (or a foreigner ). Scottish and Scouse? No way

I've assimilated the information that going to a car boot sale when you're knackered means you miss your nap (cos Sammie sleeps on the way, and you can't ) and also just makes you feel worse.

I'm one of those spongey people who absorb the accent of the people around them wherever they are. It's soo annoying! My parents are from Manchester, so I don't usually get northeners confused, I was just really, really tired and dehydrated.

I learnt that my dad's eldest siblings are crazy, really crazy

I learned how to drive 20 miles through the foothills in a full fledged blizzard and white-out. Luckily, I could drive the roads in this town with my eyes closed... Or I would surely be dead. Not really, but I've never driven in snow like this before. Quite the experience.
