I searched for rachel nevada and typed groom lake and found that. Google didnt find it I did.

It's pretty well know where it is, but it would be difficult to get to because of the security measures so the map wouldn't really cause harm. Also most of the base is probably underground so can't be seen.

Anyone wanting to cause damage would know about Area 51. It's known well from films and so on. Terrorists would find it impossible to attack, and other countries with the capability to attack it with missiles would have their own spy satalittes to find it, at far better resolution. Most of the research would be carried out at other places that aren't know.

I found that image too, but how do you know that's Area 51.
Probably it's just some factory in Nevada.

Actually, Google doesn't have to do anything. 
Someone else took the picture and put it on the Internet. Then when borgslayer typed in the search terms, Google crawled the Web and found that picture (with the help of its gargantuan indexing database). Google is just displaying the picture, its Images search is essentially like a window (hence a number of copyright quagmires).

Heres how it works
The satelite in space takes the picture of Earth then the pictures are automatically transmitted back to a computer. Then a person on that computer sends the data to google.com. So now a person can get any pictures of the Earth.
People here are waay too confuse about satelite technology.

I thought he pulled that image from the satellite search though. It's two different things.
