T'Pol is the only one that I've seen to be REALLY emotinal. I think thats because of living amongst humans. She is like the first Vulcan to be surrounded by Humans for LONG periods of time. She is having trouble adjusting I think. Who knows. Another ENT screw up? Perhaps....

The reason why T'Pol is like that is because of the Trellium D she took and became addicted to. Her emotions were always close to the suface for a Vulcan, then she joined a crew of all humans and 1 denobulan and spent 4 like 4 years with them and her emotions were brought up even more because of the effect the Trellium D had on her.

If you watch season 1 of enterprise you see that she makes an excellent Vulcan.

You may also want to take in effect that the Vulcans during enterprise's time would have to be less controlled than than of any of the other shows because they are a good 1-2 generations earlier.

I do remeber Soval raising his voice to Jon Archer in Broken Bow... that is if I remember correctly, and with that he had also spent a lot of excess time on Earth.

It must be sad to live a life as a Vulcan, but it's also one with out that feeling of pain. I would certainly love to suppress pains, emotional and physical.

But anyway, Vulcans are full of logic. Thats a quality I would love to have

They do express pain, when they get shot or cut they shout "argh!" because it catches them off guard, unlike an emotion which creeps up on your mind slowly and is easy to suppress

Yeah, I wouldn't count physical pain as an emotion. It's your body telling you it's been damaged
