Lost doesn't always mean died. He was working 14-18 hours a day.

Well, pretty much all the cast worked that much. It just caused Shatner to lose his family, his wife couldn't deal w/ the time he had to put in, but she sure liked the benefits.

I'm sure. I guess she got fed up and ran with the benefits.

It was pathetic. Shatner made alot of money from TOS, and she got just about all of it. The poor guy went from living in a big house, to living in a camper. He did all the work, she got all the $. Pathetic.

Nimoy DID NOT hate his part. If you got that idea from his book "I Am Not Spock," you should also read his second book, "I Am Spock," in which he explains that the first book was taken the wrong way. He didn't hate being Spock at all, in fact he was very sad when they filmed ST2 to have Spock die.

The "Remember" line was put in at the last minute, BTW.

For directing ST3 and 4, all he had to do was ask, and they said yes immediately for 3. Since he did ST3 so well, they also gave him 4.

Lindley, if you don't know what your talking about, don't answer. Nemoy did hate his part, he got sick of everybody calling him spock, and just being known for that.

Oh, and if he had hated the "Spock" role he wouldn't have agreed to guest-star on TNG.

While he did get tired of being type-cast as an unemotional character, he did not hate the part, and in fact swore to himself that (circumstances permitting) he would never turn down a request for an autograph.

By the way, I NEVER post without knowing what I'm talking about, and if I don't have evidence then I say that.

bullsh*t. listen if you think he didn't hate the part then you obviously haven't seen the celebrity biography on E! he states quite clearly throughout the WHOLE thing that he couldn't stand to be Spock.
