Stargate Atlantis is badly written. I love SG1, but no to another movie, I always fall asleep during the first one

There have been two planned SG1 movies. The first eventually became "Lost City" when SG1 was renewed for season 7. The second became "Rising".

I figure they'll make one eventually, but not until Scifi finally stops renewing them.

There is going to be one more season, that's confirmed and they'll start production soon.

I don't think we need another movie. Even after this season is over, there just . . . really isn't much left to tell. The writers are starting to lapse into the habit of bringing in a villain during episode 1 of a season and vanquishing them in the climactic season finale. As much as I love Stargate, I want it to go out nicely rather than slowly degenerate into a nest of bad writing.
