I know that. I would want to come to. But the fact is, they are breaking our laws to do so, and we must prevent this and stop them. It's not just a matter of economy or whatnot, but national security.

Things in mexico are bad right now. And we though our unemployment problems were bad, we should take a look at mexico's. Thats why they want to come here, so they can provide for their families back home. I don't blame them, but we don't have all the resources in the world, and eventually we could be in a situation just as bad as theirs. If they're going to immigrate here, I have no problem with that. My problem is with them doing it illegally.

What? Huh? This is NOT a "feeble attempt to make himself look good in the eyes of the American public." He REALLY feels passionate about it! You cannot make an INSTANT judgment saying that this is just PR, because it's NOT. Have you ever had the courtesy to think that he may FELL this issue important? And if he did things for PR, he would be a lot different than he is today

I disagree. I think that is the exact reason he is how he is today. He used to be extremely conservative to the point of hysteria, and now he is clearly moving closer to the center of the road. The reason? I believe it is ratings and an attempt to gain approval from conservative left wingers.

Or, God forbid someone actually change their mind . But of course, they just have to have ulterior motives . I know alot of people that have become more centerline due to certain policies of the Bush administration, and other Republicans, or for that matter, just by actually thinking about things and using their brain .

Hmm, not what I meant, sorry if I made that confusing  . Was implying that due to certain far right wing choices, and statements coming out of the Bush administration, and other Republicans, people are thinking, changing their mind, and becoming more middle of the road.

I wouldn't blame that on the Bush administration. (Perhaps blame is the wrong word... perhaps "connect that with" is better)
Polls have always put most voters in the center of the road... there is a very small percentage of voters that are either far right or far left. Hence the appeal of seeming to be in the middle too.

True, too bad we will never know his motives though. Maybe he is just honestly changing his mind, but then again, you a good argument for ulterior motives that might be behind that. Either way, I don't watch him anymore because he gets on my nerves...always cutting people off when he doesn't like what they say . Tsk tsk, needs to learn some better manners IMO  .
