Tue Mar 22, 2005 12:18 am Star Wars: Episode III Premiers in 10 cities for charity |
|
http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/release/charity/ discusses the May 12 premier of Star Wars: Episode III in 10 cities, with all proceeds going to charity.
Quote: | Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith will premiere on May 12 in 10 cities across the United States. These events will raise critical funds and awareness for issues affecting children and families, by working with local charities.
* Alliance for Education, Seattle, WA.
* Artists for a New South Africa, Los Angeles, CA.
* Children's Defense Fund, Washington, D.C.
* Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL.
* City Year, Boston, MA.
* Colorado Children's Campaign, Denver, CO.
* Hughes Spalding Children's Hospital, Atlanta, GA.
* Koret Family House, San Francisco, CA.
* Miami Children's Hospital Foundation, Miami, FL.
* The Children's Health Fund, New York, NY. |
I'm going to plan on going, not just for the movie, but for the charities, of course. I recommend that if you live in one of these areas, you go too. Even if you don't like Star Wars.

Thank God for Denver. I'm so there.
...
Wait, nevermind. I have no $250 to spend for a single night out. Sorry, you children of Denver.

If any of my friends were interested in star wars I would totally go see the one in LA. I'm sure I can find SOMEONE to tag along with me.

Haha. That would be funny. I would so go if I had $250 to spend on a "movie ticket". Rats.
