Okay. Well it started off with a faction of time travelers from the future. They chose the Suliban and gave some of them ways of altering themselves so they have excellent vision "This sulibans eyes could see things that even this ships sensors couldn't pick up" (Dr. Flox "Broken Bow") and altering well...yeah everything about them. With this the Time Travelers ordered these Suliban mutants to capture a klingon and use it to create a Civil war within the Klingon empire so the klingons would no longer be a threat. Fortunately the enterprise crew with help from some Suliban which had broken away from the time travelers.

Then recieving orders from the time travelers the Suliban went after the enterprise and captain archer time and time again trying to stop him knowing that he was a threat. Then crewman Danliels came forward and told captain archer who he really was. Then with Daniels help he traveled a few huundred years into the future, back to Daniels time only to find that the timeline has changed. All of the history that Daniels and the people of his time knew was gone because the other faction of time travelers has succefully altered the past in effect altering the future. With Daniels and Archer mysteriousely gone the Faction of time travelers found out and ordered the Suliban to capture the enterprise and find Archer knowing that he is a threat to this factions plans. Archer and Danield managed to create a divice in daniels time to get Archer home and prevent that timeline from happening.

Then this faction realised that the Suliban just werent cutting it for them. Another faction convinced the Xindi that earth will destroy the Xindi in the future and convinced the Xindi to try and destroy humanity before it could destroy them. Convicing the Xindi that in the future the entire Xindi Race's will be whiped out by humans. With help from the future once again they managed to create a weapon of mass destruction to destroy earth before earth destroyed them. With the threat to Earth now, they send the enterprise into the Delphic Expanse to stop the Xindi weapon. Just under a year later the enterprise managed to forge an alliance with 3 of the 5 Xindi Race's stopping the sphere from destroying earth and destroying the Spheres which created the Delphic expanse. Now that there ultered space had been destroyed the "Sphere Builders" were forced to retreat back to there own time.

Then with the blast of the Xindi weapon Archer was thrown back into WWII on earth. Only to find that one of the aliens in the temporal faction was on earth at that time. They were trapped there and were using German technology of that time to build a portal to get home. But in doing this they tipped the war in the Nazi's favour altering the future once again. Then with enterprise in orbit of earth durin WWII trying to find a way home, they find that Silik one of the Suliban Mutants was onboard and stole a shuttlepod and made it to earth. Then eventually with the help of enterprise, Archer managed to destory the portal stopping the aliens and sending the enterprise back to it's own time with the timeline succeffullly restored.

(I'll add more later, my class has just finished and i gotta go for my lunche. See ya)

lol

Okay so this Faction made up of lot's of different aliens which have the capability of time travel in the future are trying to take control of...well...the universe. By altering past events to there own image to suite them. The other temporal agents have been sent to chase them through time and stop them and hopefully mending any damage they cause in the past.

I like it. I especially like the way it makes it clear about the kind of abilities and technology that starfleet has in the 2150's. It's not exaggerated at all because it shows how inferior they are to these time travelers just like they would be in that point in time.

Yes i find it quite interesing and it has lasted sort of in the background for like 3 years of enterprise

Everything was good except one part. The faction that hired the Suliban are not the same ones that hired the Xindi. Those are two seperate factions. One if the sphere builders and the other is future guy. As I recall Future Guy talked to Archer about them in one episode and said he had to stop them. Why would he tell Archer he needed to stop himself?

Quote:
Following the first Xindi attack on Earth in March 2153, Future Guy summoned Archer to speak with him; he provided crucial information about who was behind the attack and why. He also gave Archer proof that the Xindi were being manipulated by beings from the future he told Archer to look for a component of the weapon that gave a negative quantum dating signature. Temporal Cold War:
The Temporal Cold War is an ongoing conflict being fought between several time-travelling factions in different periods, each trying to manipulate history for its own benefit. The origins, locations, and battlegrounds of the war are highly complex and rapidly shifting, with new incursions and alterations made by temporal agents making it almost impossible to keep track.

It is as of yet unknown exactly what the motivations of the different factions are, although it seems clear that the Temporal Prime Directive has been rescinded (at least partially) by a future Starfleet for the duration of this conflict.

It is quite possible that the war is now over, thought it must be understood that "now" is an entirely relative term when it comes to time travel.

Factions:
Mysterious benefactor of the Suliban Cabal (29th century). Unable to travel through time, only able to communicate. Motives very mysterious: has tried to both assist and thwart Earth interests in the 22nd century. Usually opposing the Federation, which he holds responsible for violating the Temporal Accord. Also opposes the Sphere Builders. (See C1988? )

Na'kuhl (29th century). Lead by Vosk, this race vehemently opposed the Temporal Accord because they believe time travel is something to be used by all races for self-improvement. Responsible for the Cold War temporarily igniting.

Sphere Builders (21st and 22nd centuries). Beings from a transdimensional realm able to examine alternate futures, but seem to have limited time travel abilities as well. Tried to destroy Earth to stop their race's defeat at the Battle of Procyon V.

United Federation of Planets (31st century). Represented to Enterprise by Daniels, who claims the Cabal's benefactor violated the Temporal Accord. Has acted against Cabal interests on several occasions. Also opposes the Sphere Builders and the Na'kuhl.

Proxy Powers:
Andorian Empire (22nd century). Assisted Earth during the Xindi conflict.
Earth Starfleet (22nd century). See "Enterprise and the Temporal Cold War" below.
Klingon Empire (22nd century). The Suliban Cabal tried to destabilize them and start a civil war.
Nazi Germany (20th century). The Na'kuhl provided an alternate timeline version of the Nazis with advanced technology in exchange for resources and assistance.
Suliban Cabal (22nd century). Performs actions for their mysterious benefactor in exchange for technology. Lead by Silik.
Suliban renegades (22nd century). Former members of the Cabal, such as Sarin, who have left and now oppose its actions. Assisted both Earth and the Klingons during the Broken Bow Incident.
Tholian Assembly (22nd century). Tried to acquire a future timeship. Alliances with any temporal powers unknown, though they seem to be opposed to the Suliban Cabal.
United Federation of Planets (26th century). Battled the Sphere Builders and defeated them at the Battle of Procyon V in a timeline now likely defunct.
Xindi (21st and 22nd centuries). Manipulated by the Sphere Builders into attacking Earth.

Unless I misread that.

But it isn't a big deal. C1988's explanation is still good. I've added a little and hope it helps. The Temporal Cold War idea is pretty awesome in the grand scheme of it all. Im sure many people didn't see the Xindi arc playing into the war.
