Jemah said what he meant to say. If you read the second part of his second, or third post, you'll be able to see that. Really, no harm comes in reading an entire post, you know.

Well, on average, Jemah and I tend to have the same aspects on things. So I just wanted to help clear up what he was saying since people were so against it.

Let me clear something up.

Now 1500 troops died fighting the war in Iraq. Now you said they were defending our country. Well technically they were not defending our country since the War in Iraq was an invasion. When you are invading you are not defending your are attacking which means offense.

Alright that should clear things up.

Actually, that can be interpreted differently. If you know your neighbor is amassing weapons to kill you and your family, and you go over and disable them, it is pre-emptive, but still defense.

Exactly. And ILLEGALLY, too!

Excellent analogy, and so true. He seemed to be a grave threat. We were protecting our country from that grave threat.

Well, clearly not anymore... I'm sure you would've thought the same thing if we'd been warned about some dude in the desert named bin Laden before 9/11 happened.

Hell yea I would have been worried about Bin Laden, Only because ya, he is a threat, He has attacked us before, And he does send us threats and what not. I still think it was a HUGE mistake to go invade Iraq. I'm happy the people in iraq are finally being able to do what they want, But still... It was none of our business.

And what did Saddam do?
1. Invaded the innocent, sovereign nation of Kuwait for NO REASON!
2. He threatened the US on MANY occasions (proven to be true) and called for attacks on Israel America MANY times, not to mention REWARDED those that did so.
3. He shot at our planes in the no-fly zone, which was discussed in the TREATY THAT HE SIGNED! We were going to put our planes there, and he shot at them.

Yeah, he wasn't a threat, it was not our business to defend ourselves, and he did not attack and threaten our country

I'm not saying he was not a threat. I was simply comparing the two of them, osama and saddam. And I don't care if saddam threatened us, or not. I would have, and probably any democrat would have gone after osama.. and found him. Our soldiers had him in sight, but what happened? NOTHING! But of course, Bushy had to follow in his dads footsteps and try to finish what his dad had started but wasn't able to finish.

You are just humiliating yourself even more, aren't you?
Any Democrat would have gone after Osama? Gore wouldn't have even gone into Afghanistan! He really wouldn't!
And the soldiers had him in sigh? Last time I heard that the soldiers had him in sight was during the CLINTON years, when he was OFFERED him, but turned the offer down! Besides, even if we did, do you know how long it takes for a missile, or even troops, to get there? He's constantly on the go, so if you see him in a house, by the time the troops get there, he'll have been gone. I won't even bother to respond to the last part, which is so highly ignorant.

Yea I would go in after him. Al gore is not my pic for a leader as it is.. But anwyay. I had heard they had him in sight. And yes it is possible to get him.. We found saddam didn't we? Don't try to use ur excuse about him always on the go because so was saddam. And no I'm not humiliating myself, because it is how I feel. It might be dumb or somethin to you, But I think your views on thigns are extreemly lame. lol

And forgive me RM for not knowing every single fact about everything like you do. I have a life. k? I can't be at home watching the news and reporting it back to this website every second of my life,

BEFORE 9/11/01, you would not have considered bin Laden a threat. Saddam has been instrumental in acts against Americans. If you choose to ignore this, that's your perogative. But I for one, think that him saying he was going to attack us, on our own soil, is a bad thing.

You "heard" that they had him in their sights? If you knew anything about the news, you would know it wasn't that simple. Its not like he was in a sniper's target range and Bush told him to suddenly stop, but im sure you would believe that. You make no sense. Why would Bush tell them not to get him? Wouldn't it make Bush look more like a hero if they captured him?

Yeah I can tell from your posts, you have no idea about whats going on in the news or in the world in general.

^ Good point

Lets get back to topic

Now I think the U.S. needs to lower its gas prices by 1 dollar.

We should build a bigger fence to stop Mexican Illegal Immigrants from crossing our borders.

We should also put sanctions on Mexico for promoting illegal immigration.

I don't see the gas prices going down, but I will admit I don't understand why American's aren't doing anything about it. It's been done before...

lol my way is simple kill everybody else in the world bar Britain we are the only real sain country......

lol,

But I really think that there should be a ban placed on all nuks or global devestating weapons of mass destruction.

I beleave that all world leaders should shut up and have a nice cup of coffee/tea and sort things out and become one unified planet.

places with population crises should starte as of now to putting in place family restrictions, and of course the biggest is to get rid of all money and work more towords one planet as 1 not who's the richest and most powerful.

I also think religions should be got rid of.

I think in most cases it causes more trubble than its worth (expecialy these people who beleave they are on holy war's......)

lol waits for my post to be slaughtered and heavaly critized

Johny with his solutions, that I've had to listen to for years now Now I get a chance to fight back on my territory

A ban on all nukes and weapons of mass destruction would be nice, but it's never going to happen- at least not before we've destroyed the world. I cannot see any US president agreeing to get rid of nukes, even if it were the only country to have them.

I agree that all the world leaders should sit down with a nice cup of tea (or coffee, or water for any Mormons ), shut up and listen to one another to sort things out and get some stability on this earth. But again, it's just not going to happen, with, as you just coughed behind me, *ahbush* saying all these countries are evil. As for family restrictions, I think allowing countries to use birth control such as condoms is a better method of population control, which is another thing Bush disagrees with for some reason I've yet to understand.

As for getting rid of money- that's the best idea anyone's ever had, but again, it's not going to happen in a capitalist system. We'd have to rise above capitalism before anything starts to improve.

Getting rid of religion- well, I think religious wars are stupid, but everyone has a right to their beliefs. I'm not so keen on organised religion, and don't think they should really be a part of politics, but we have to take what we've got and remember this: when Moses, Mohammed and Thomas Jefferson agree on something, it's normally for a good reason (they all agree that we should keep away from debt based monetary systems, which is what is currently practiced in the USA and other countries).

As for Britain being the only sane country and killing everyone else- well, I'd kill you, since a lot of my friends live in other countries
