The majority of people believe in a left-wing news media bias. What is your opinion? Point out specific news networks, and, if you wish, examples of this bias, or debunk claims of bias.
Left-Wing bias:
-CNN
-MSNBC
-NBC
-CBS
-ABC
Debunking:
FOX News. Just tonight on Hannity and Colmes, Allan Colmes was not present. And who replaced him? Former DNC chairman Terry Mcaulouf (I know I didn't spell that right)! Do you see the other networks doing this? How in the world could a network that shows a Conservative and, filling in for a Liberal, another Liberal that was the leader of the Democratic party be "Conservative!?" Exactly! They're not Conservative. They may be SLIGHTLY Republican, but hardly at all.
Bill O'Reilly's fair and balanced, and you have Liberals saying he's too conservative and Conservatives saying he's too liberal. Doesn't that say that he is IN THE MIDDLE?
Greta Van Sustren has a more left-wing bias.
Shepard Smith is fair and balanced in his reporting.
Brit Hume has been praised by Bill Clinton himself (I saw the tape) for being fair.
Jon Gibson is, I'll give you, more Republican than anything else, but except for certain issues he's fair.
Neil Cavuto is very, very fair.
And all the other FOX News folks are really quite fair, and if they have a bias, it's usually purposeful.
But on CNN, no one there is fair, just Liberal. Especially Wolf Blitzer, Larry King, Paula Zahn, and Lou Dobbs.
And on MSNBC you've got people like Chris Matthews (the worst of them) and Keith Oberman. Plus the hosts of the NBC, ABC, and CBS shows are all Liberal biased, especially Katy Kouric.

I'm hurt that you didn't include CBC.
All networks are biased. I don't think there is any "general bias," rather that some shows are biased depending on their hosts, and thus the "general bias" can be perceived to be an effect of the bias of the majority of shows.
I find it interesting how the networks people don't like the watch are called biased, whereas they think their favourite network is fair. I'm pretty sure that every network is just as biased as the next one.
Is there a general left-wing bias, however? Truthfully, I do not watch the news much, and I do not sample around, so I don't think I could make an informed decision to that effect.

Actually, I watch CNN and MSNBC, and NBC, CBS, and ABC. But yes, there is a general left-wing bias. But yes, everything except for C-SPAN is biased, at least to some extent.
