You can keep the money, and live off the interest,
Who knows. I could leave the rest of the money to something that's more important to me. Just don't know what yet,

Do you know how much interest 46 Billion dollars has? you wouldn't even notice the taxes going off.
3% a year? thats 1 Billion 380 Million dollars a YEAR. A whole State can live of that.

Bit dissapointing I think when you have so much money. |
Maybe he feels he made his money by hard work, so he is gonna enjoy it however he wants to....?

I'd donate a bit... Invest in whatever caught my eye. I would own UFC, ehh... I'd still wanna do hair tho, So I'd build this gnarly salon in bel air, and do hair! I'd own my own super super super nice gym... have all of the ladies goin there! Oh, I'd have fun... for sure.
But honestly, I'd rather not wanna be that rich. I would rather have value to things and appreciate the little things in life. I mean a couple million... isn't a lot at all.. But 46 billion?

^ I totally agree. Material thing don't matter anymore when you're rich, you understand the true value of life: friendship, love, happiness. That's what makes your life worthwhile. imo.

I don't are too much about material things at the moment. My aims are to buy a new watch, an alarm clock, and a pet mouse... I feel bad spending money on myself, even when I can afford it.
There are some things I'd like to do at least once though that you need money for, such as fly in a plane (please don't be too shocked by that one- offically I live below the poverty line), travel to another country with a different culture (I've been to Wales, Scotland and Calais in France... they all seemed the same as England), and maybe live one day like a rich person (with nice clothes, nice food, stay in a nice house with a swimming pool, and travel in a car with some glamour such as a Rolls or a limo ).
I guess I get annoyed with those who say that all those on benefits (or welfare) should just get a job and they'll be fine. It's very hard to get out of the poverty trap, and I'm very grateful for what I have. It could be an awful lot worse, which is why I'm so supportive of the Make Poverty History campaign for 2005. But I guess I'm drifting a lot, and should probably go make a new topic (just got to decide whether it would be better in Chit Chat or World News... it comes under both ).

As I said, that's all the more money to give to a cause you believe in.

I would invest it in FTL technology so I can leave this world and move to a more peaceful one where I can finally rest all day and not having to put up with any bs

since I live literally a block in front of the beach and love it so much... I'd buy a private island.. I'd rent it out to the rich and famous ppl when I wasn't using it. But yea... that would be sweet.
Oh the things I could do on my own island! hehe

On the other note spending 20billion dollars to end hunger would be great.
I would literally go and buy over 15million can of hormel chilli and give it people in Sudan, Ethiopia, and other African nations that are suffering from famine.
That would certainly help with that crisis.

I've known some pretty nice rich guys, and I've met more than a few lowsy no-good poor people, and vice versa. It's just that you don't hear much about good deeds, skis, the Ebbers, and the Skillings, who'and since most people hear about the Kozlows greed causes huge problems for many; they automatically think that all big-wig-tycoons are evil. On the flip-side, when people see a working class joe with little character, it's normally a small problem, usually costing less than $10 to whoever is injured, so people stave it off as just another inconsiderate jerk, and it has no lasting effect. People have used scale to try to make the rich look evil and the poor look innocent. Character is not the content of wallet that matters, it's the content of heart. And both sides of the coin have their glimmer and their flaws, neither more than the other.

I had an idea about buying up the worst area of the city of Las Vegas and turning it into a massive theme park. With this much money I would go to the worst crime ridden neighborhood part of town and spend about 5 billion of dollars paying people millions of dollars or less to move out of their house and find a better and cleaner place to live in. Then with the same amount of money demolish everything but keeping the needed road in the area except for the one in the actual neighborhood. After that I would build the theme park and build some walk bridges if I were to build over an important roadway that shouldn't be demolished. This would create thousands of new jobs in the theme park, park hotel, and other venues. Also it will rid of 90% of the crime in the area since that crime ridden neighborhood no longer exist and the area is now a theme park.
With 46billion dollars I would build a Theme Park/Zoo/Hotel/Casino/Aquarium.
