C'mon, admit it, Kira was gay. Tough butch gal with a short haircut. What man found her attractive. Quark was selling holosuite programs of her and Dax doing the nasty everyday, until Kira found out and beat the living Ferengi ass out of him. Dax did not mind too much.
Who else thought Kira should of been portrayed gay?

Not really. What other Bajoran women were agressive? Besides Kira and Kai Winn?
Kira is NOT gay. Thats a STUPID thing to say. She had MALE significant others. She was tough because she grew up in the midst of the Occupation. You had to be strong to survive what she did. She had short hair? Yep...shes gay.

It waskind of implyed in "Emissary pt 1" when sisko is about to enter his new office. Chief O'brien says "Sir, have you ever met a bajoran woman?" then sisko walked into his office to see that kira was there and then she starts giving him a bollocking

No way Kira was gay though. She dated Vedek Bareil until his death, Minister Shakaar until she saw the light and realized they weren't meant to be together, then Odo until the end of the series.

Most bajoran women had short hair, ro laren from (TNG) and you will notice alot of women on the station and on bajor had short hair, that was there custom, they were aggressive because they were taught to be that way, you have cardassians occupying bajor for 60 plus years with death and abuse, im sure during that time aggression builds up and you have to be tough.It obviously became a part of her life after bajor and on DS9, everyone respects her for it and keeps a clear distance. Kira isnt gay by any means just a roughneck thats doesnt take nothing off people.

Yeah she was *HAPPY* to be with odo.
I dont understand how people can think she is gay because she has short hair like the rest of the bajoran women do, she never carried on with any women what so ever.She was in love with odo before a federation presence and during it. Come on people simple logic..
It would be better for you people to say you just dont like her than say she is gay because you all know she wasnt in the storyline.

It's called projecting. Not always, but with the topics here at STV, yeah, I'd say so. Person A is gay, so they see Kira as gay. Person B is straight, and they do not.
