Oh no, I don't find people believing in god or religion offensive (if thats what you thought, and my post wasn't really directed at you in particular, ). Plus, I guess I should point out that I don't really dislike religion or god. Out of all the bad things, I think the good things outweigh those.

I find is scary thought that Founder (whats in a name?) doesn't explain the Actions of Tomas de Torquemada. Because this guy actually thought he was doing gods will, crazy loon. The pope was actually happy with the results, all those Jews killed (Genocide, the worst crime ever). The inquisition is the reason why i hate the Catholic Church actually, and thus everybody who supports it.

Why do I have to explain the actions of something a guy did a LONG time ago? Thats just plain stupid. Gee, sorry I don't control time. I guess im evil cause I don't jump into a time machine and find this guy and stop him. Im Catholic because I believe in God. Not because of the Catholic Church's past. I was Catholic before I even learned about the Catholic Church in full detail. With that kinda close minded and ignorant mentality, you can say all White people are evil because they used to own slaves. You hate the Catholic Churce and all Catholics? Aw. How will I ever live without your love?

So what is jesus then? Isn't he a guy who did some stuff a long time ago? and those things haven't even been proven yet and still you believe he did them and think worshipping him is gonna get you in heaven. Thats just plain stupid. Sorry if i don't go into MY time machine and see if Jesus christ actually did walk on water and actually was the son of god.

Since the fact that jesus Christs actions are not proven, i'm not so naive too believe others and the bible he did all those things he did (don't get me wrong, i can believe there actually was a guy named Jesus Christ who got crucified, but he wasn't the son of god).

Only tomas de Toruqamada's actions ARE proven and are the worst of his kind, so forgive me i got a little bit more hate than love flowing in me about this.

BTW, i never sayed i hated all catholics, just all who support the church. But, you don't listen anyways.

So why do you not believe about what Jesus did, there is books from eyewitnesses to show it. It's probably because you haven't seen it yourself... What about science though, have you seen all the theories that you believe to be absolutaly true? Have you seen them proved? Some of them you will have, but others you haven't. You're taking people's word for it. Same thing as religious people. ((Not saying that I don't believe in a lot of science, just that it is along the same lines in terms of belief.))

An opinion IS wrong if it contradicts known facts. If it's your opinion that objects fall upwards when dropped, then your opinion is wrong.

Of course, that's just my opinion.

You can always exaggerate ey webtaz99... That's of course not what I meant.. If I say that I don't like George Bush, and you say it's wrong, than it's weird, because that's not a fact.. Ah well forget it.

Well, if you might look for the warp speed topic you can see i don't agree with for example einsteins theory or relativity eighter. I have my own idea's about everything. Of course, a lot of things that i have seen proven i believe in. For example the theorie that there are alien lifeforms in our universe. I believe that, because too my logic sense I see that the Universe is just too big for only us.

I hardly take peoples word for it, only perhaps my dad.

Opinions can be wrong when they're uninformed,

I know it's a sensitive subject, but let's lighten up a little and leave each other out of the attacks, ok?

You made absolutely no sense. You were asking me to answer for the crimes of a man that lived hundreds of years ago. What does that have to do with your ingorant belief that my faith is "plain stupid"? Im not attacking your belief. I don't care if you believe in Jesus or not. Im saying your intolerant for hating those who do. You say you hate Catholics for their views agains homosexuals. We should all be tolerant. Yet you hate us because of our views. Notice the double standard there? Im reminded of the joke on Austin Powers...

"If there are two things in this World I hate its people who are intolerant to others cultures and the Dutch!"

The joke is funny, but also proves a point. You're a hyopcrite.

That makes NO sense. Catholics tend to support the Church.

I don't listen? You ignore all my points that prove your ignorance. I bet you won't answer half my questions and rebuttles, because you can't. Not without showing the bigot that you are. I've said a thousand times I don't mind your beliefs, I just hate your intolerance for people who are different from you. You remind me of another poster on this website. He keeps posting that VOY could beat the ENT-E and the Defiant. We all prove that VOY would lost to both ships but he tunes it out. He doesn't want to believe anything that proves him wrong. Like you. Hitchhiker, Valathous, and IntrepidIsMe all don't follow my faith. Yet they never berated me for doing so. They let me keep my opinion and don't break their backs trying to kill my faith. You can take a lesson of tolerance from them. Because you really need it.

Opinions cannot be outright wrong. If they do contradict accepted facts, it could be just because a person interprets facts differently than others. Opinions are the middle ground between belief and fact, and as such you should provide reasoning for your opinions, which are just interpretations of the fact.

One should respect everyone's opinions, because one should try to treat everyone equally. Even if one disagree's with a person's opinions, as long as they present their argument in a well-thought out and professional manner, those opinions deserve one's respect. What is irking is when the debate degenerates into a shouting match, because all parties have stated their opinions but are not content to let the matter drop.

I think that it's nice to occasionally click this link as a reminder.

Im not judging you. But I think you are close minded when it comes to Catholiscm and Catholics. I understand that the Church has done some bad things in the past, but that doesn't mean we should forever hate the Churce. You can disagree with it, you can say you dislike its past, but its wrong to say you hate the Church to this day. Unless they have done something to you personally. I just think the things you say are offensive. You said that believing in Jesus is "just plain stupid". I mean c'mon man, learn to at least word your views better. If you are trying to say I disagree with it or don't follow it, then fine. But to say its "stupid". INTOLERANT.

So you hate Catholics soley for what people did in the past? Do you see the problem with that? With views like that, we should hate all of humanity because every race, religion, gender, and color has done evil in some way. You can't hate people because of the past. You learn from it. I think Catholiscm has come a long way since then, but thats fine if you disagree. You hate it for its actions? Of the past or you mean today's actions? If you mean today, then what actions of today?

Today's views are different because this is a different time. The Catholic Church knows what it did in the past was wrong. They have not done anything like that today nor will they ever. If your scared that that will happen, don't be. There is a better chance of a Religious cleansing, which scares me.

Enslavement part has been punished? How so?

You're right. There are Catholics who don't support the Church, but im sure they wouldn't really like your Catholic bashing. You can pity the Catholics who go to Church. I don't see why you would. They are simply following their faith. I don't see why that is so appaling to you.

actions of the past and of the present do make me hate the human race. The difference is that the Human race learns, Catholics obviously don't since people still go to church.

When reading your posts i try too understand why you are religious and why you believe in all of it. I just can't get it, in a way i get pissed about that to myself since it totally goes against my own beleives, so i respond in the wrong way, i'm sorry.

We're getting there...

I quoted on you when i called believing in jesus " just plain stupid". i don't find it Plain stupid, i find it nave but just a little bit. You don't have too caps lock eighter.

Ok thats fine if you find it naive. But the teachings of Jesus Christ are a focal point in some people's live. He preached tolerance and peace. You may dislike the "stories", but im sure you can at least appreciate the message.

actions of the past and of the present do make me hate the human race. The difference is that the Human race learns, Catholics obviously don't since people still go to church.

The Catholic Church has come a long way. They too have "learned". And what is so wrong about people going to Church?

Im a Catholic. Its obvious by the way I defend it and get offended by the things you say. Yes, I may not be a hardcore devout Catholic that follows every teaching to the letter, but its still offensive to me.

well, a civil war is a punishment, sort of speak.

Civil War? You mean the American civil war or did your nation go through a civil war? If you mean America, that was not a punishment for slavery. In fact it only had half to do with slavery. It was more about the reunification of America.

Not going to revoke them? Well if thats how you feel, then don't. But eventually you'll see that carrying hatred around for the rest of your life will not do you any good. You can learn a lot more by being tolerant to ALL people.

Founder, you are right. Now, some of these comments ARE attacks, and I find them dispicable.

Oh yeah, the message is good. keep the message alive.

What is wrong with it? well, first lets start by you saying what is good about it. Sure some things are good about it in some ways but the actual reason isn't.

(why the quotes on Teaching?)

Then how do you feel about those "hardcore" Catholic ways?

What about the people who devout too he entire package? do you think they are wrong? or ignorant?

yeah, i meant the americans. But my own country has been punished too in a way. We have known wars, i see them as neccessary punishments( please don't take it wrong, i think they are horrible but i know they are unstoppable and in a way usefull).

I can handle the hatred. I can control it, its not that when i see a catohlic i attack his Religion head on. But he should be carefull, just like a Racist or a Nazi should if i meet one (not that i compare them too Catholics or anything).
