PostSun Feb 13, 2005 7:35 pm    Enterprise Return on Spike TV??

Quote:
According to several rumors on the web, Spike TV plans to pick up the recently cancelled
Star Trek: Enterprise.

According to the rumors, Spike TV wants to produce a new season with a low budget and only 13 episodes a season. Cast contracts and Paramount's willingness would be the biggest problem.

Spike TV currently airs Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

WHAT? That sounds like a good plan to me if it ever goes through.

scifiuniverse.net is where I first saw it, although I'm not sure if they got it from anyone else.

No, don't do this. I'd much rather see Voyager on, and DS9 and TNG on every night again--especially DS9. I haven't seen much of it.

In a way I say do it, let Enterprse live out its normal trek series life of seven years (seasons) or so, and in a way I say don't do it...let Enterprise slowly fade out of our memories as a bad proto-type trek series (or something of the sort) and let it rest in peace...that's just my opinion.

I doubt this will happen. A bid by Sci Fi Channel appears more likely, if anything at all.

I think that would be awesome, were it to be proven true.

Its pretty bad when we "cant" get a glimpse of how the united federation of planets got started because of so many foul ups.All we can look forward to is its future, what a shame..
