I'm not convinced it's a physical thing at all. And whatever it wasn't hasn't been seen (aside from Boone, who was hallucinating) since Locke "encountered" it.....

Although I have heard a plausible theory that it's a cloaked jump-jet.

trust me.. ive seen the first 12 eps.. and it gets GOOD!
also i re watched the (i think it's) 4th ep, where lock 'see's' what it is.. maybe it IS invisible.. but lock seemed lik he was actually LOOKING at something.. not at something invisible...

Ah! totally brilliant I love it

I think knowing about Walt being "special" and seeing him reading the comic with the polar bears makes me think that he might have something to do with them?

This programme is so good. As of today, 7 episodes have screened in NZ! But I've seen 15 eps. . . I won't say how though.

Is it just me or is Loch kinda creepy? But he's cool.

Oh and Charlie. . . Charlie, Charlie, Charlie.

No one in NZ knows about Danniell yet. . . but I do!

I have 3 eps to go till I have seen the whole season. EEEE

I didn't like it. I saw the first 2 episodes. Its all very predictable.

Quote:
Of course the dog already knew that there was something wrong with the island.
The hero of the show is a Doctor and knows EVERYTHING.
When i saw the look on the girls face with the handcuffs part iknew she was the convict.
When the piloot heard a nose and lay down he radio i knew he was gonna get killed.
When his badge was found i knew he was hanging in a tree above them.
Of course the battery of the radio is almost dead (why do they always take of with a half empty radio?).
Plus i hate all the stupid ideas they got when they had wounded laying around and a whole engine still running, the other girl getting some sun and being the most stupid person alive thinking she was going to be rescued in a couple of hours.
I did like the message on the radio part and the polar bear was interesting but i don't think i 'm going too watch this serie anymore.

^ You're funny lionhead Yeah I kinda not like that too, but it's still funny if you don't watch it too long, and if you wanna watch something that you don't wanna think about.

I've never heard of it. Is it really sci fi-ish?

it's not really sci fi-ish... the story goes that there's like... i duno.. 30 ppl survive a plane crash.. they crash on some random island after the plane hits an air pocket (??) and lands 1000 miles off course..

bit by bit the eps show a little bit on each of the main characters' lives.. as they try to survive..

and there's this 'thing' in the jungle that's knocing down the trees but no1 knows what it is.. it killed the pilot and we still havent see it yet!

little things start to happen. like theyre ona tropical island and they find a polar bear, the doc sees his dead father (who leads him to water) etc..

and they hear a transmmission that had been running over and over for 15 years. of a french woman saying something like 'theyre all dead' or something.. cant remember..

Not outwardly. But a lot of things happen which could be attributed to SF explanations.

For instance, one character was confined to a wheelchair before the crash, but can now mysteriously walk.

I watched last night and..... jeez, it was boring. Is there supposed to be some beast in the woods or something? I'm confused.

The first episode screens this wednesday on channel 4 in Britain. I'm having a party that day, so I don't know if I'll watch it or not.

To me, it just looks like an adult version of Lord of the Flies.
