After Borg assimilation Elladan reacquired some of the powers of the Nacene and Elda. His abilities to use the Force also returned, but what caused this is yet unknown.
"Elladan" is in fact the host-symbiont related organism. Symbiont is known as Bricriu, and is an energy being in nature. He protects Elladan by providing both advise as foresight. Not always is the distinction between these clear.

History:
At the age of 203 Elladan was abducted by a hostile force. Unbeknownst to both his father (governor of the Elda colony on Arani�n Prime) and his mother (Nacene explorer crashlanded on Arani�n Three (Nacene were not always as powerful...)) he survived torture and abuse at the hands of Morgoth, Dark Lord of old (THE great power at the time, comparable in danger to the Borg). He was however raised by the Dark One to be his apprentice, and as such learned many secrets of the Ancient Magic and the use of the Force. When he reached the Age of Ascension, 4250 SSY, he was put to trial by Morgoth for his final test. His task had become the elimination of all Elda and Humans in this galaxy. When he reached the planetary system of Arani�n he was converted back to the Light by the combined strength of both his father and his mother.
Years passed and Elladan learned all sorts of things and trades.
Suddenly the Systems of the Elda were struck by a Gamma Burst, releasing great amounts of gamma radiation into the systems and killing all life... Seven systems remained, and there was founded the new Empire of the Gateways. Giant portals were constructed so the if the time came, the surviving Elda would be able to go anywhere in the galaxy. Seeder colonies were founded and the Empire came once again to flourish... But it's riches and size became its undoing when Gurthal seized power and started to cleanse the planets from members of the House of Ghallim and all those allied to them. Elda marched against Elda in a giant and decisive battle on the huge planet of Hirthom (Death-Bed). The Elda were all but killed, and Elladan was one of the survivors. He was however badly injured and called upon the Great Spirits of his people, to protect him once more.
Years passed and Elladan's strength waned, leaving not more than a shadow of he who once was the Dark Lord's most feared lieutenant.

Hundreds of ages of oblivion passed and Elladan devised a spaceship for himself. Using the StarGates as primary travelling method (flying in with the little spaceship) and slight FTL-capacity he hopped through the remains of the Empire of the Elda. Then, suddenly, the galaxy shifted... probably due to the passing of another galaxy nearby the StarGates became useless, but for those alternatively powered. Elladan, seeing that his travelling mechanism failed used his acquired technological skills to devise a Hyperdrive for his spaceship.
On the test run however, a little motivator failed and the hyperspace window shut the moment Elladan entered hyperspace. Blasting through the galaxy, barely avoiding gravitic wells and such, suddenly Elladan found himself to be laying naked on a grassy field... With a small, yellow sun in the Western sky, and a single moon in the East... Elladan fell asleep and forgot all he had learned of old, the ways of the Elda left his mind.

He awakened 2054 SSY ago, and managed to keep a low profile throughout the ages, until in the year 2004 AD his protector spirit Bricriu joined him again. Power flooded trough his life and deeds, and through his whispering a certain Zephram Cochrane developed a space bending machine, called Warp Engine. Henry Archer followed his advise when adding injectors and simplifying the control modules. In later times he joined the United Earth Starfleet, and once again kept low profile. Changing identities for nearly 4 centuries, he at last revealed himself upon joining Section 31.
