Oh and btw, you get vitamin... A and D (?) when you're in the sun. And you get a tan. Not me thou, I just get all red and freckled

California can be sunny, yes. It's not as sunny as it's cracked up to be though. I don't do anything outside anyway, I'm either on the computer typing, in the gym practicing or in the weight room. There's not really anything I do outside. Except walk to and fro.

There was one time I was really angry at my parents and I used the adrenaline rush to do pushups. I did fifty. But normally I only do them in sets of twenty. Makes things easier.

*rolls eyes* Remember I'm probably a lot shorter than you. Considering I've gained almost twenty pounds since last year...although, I'd like to blame it on working out I can't. My rock hard abs are hiding beneath a layer of flab. Pssht...

Yep, but I was on an adrenaline rush then. The most I'll do at once now is thirty. I've learned it's better to do like twenty, but do them in many sets. Much easier than just killing yourself to do fifty all at once.

Oh god, I used to be tiny. Looked like one of those sticks that would blow away in the wind. Luckily, over the years I filled out a bit more and now that I'm working out, I've finally got some muscle tone...and shirts actually fit me now instead of hanging off me.
Nah, I don't think I'm fat although...*pokes stomach* There's a bit of extra skin I can do without. And yeah, I do train relentlessly. I have my normal workout schedule. Our coach opens the weight room for us every day. And then I get home and normally argue with my parents about something. After that I run off to my room to do some pushups and crunches and use the rubber band thing my physical therapist gave me. So yeah...I work out quite a bit.

More than one set of twenty? That's not really a lot. We have conditiong in the summer in which we have to do five sets of twenty normal pushups and then two sets of twenty superman pushups. *shrug* You just get used to doing all of them.

*notice the weight gain over the past year* But really, I have a decent metabolism and I work out relentlessly. That's all I have to do to stay in shape.

Of course it can be good for me. It's fun, it's how I work off anger and I don't get fat. What more can I want? Yay! Better work on those pushups.

Eek, colds. That and the flu is the worst thing to get. You'd think with all our medical advancements they'd have a cure for the common cold and the flu.
Heh... (not really sure what that was for, but it's early, I'm still waking up. )

It depends if we're conditioning the upper or lower body that day. On a normal day of conditioning we'll go out to the track and run two miles, then do a few sprints. After that we'll either work out the upper body: bench presses, hang cleans (all the crap you do with weights), pushups and superman pushups. Or we'll do the lower body and do:leg weights, squats (weird word remind me of...kumquat?), box jumps and defensive slides. Ahh...the joy of working out.

Details hmm? Ok, I arrived at Bibly study and sat around quietly while all the other girls talked about their boyfriends and what they were doing for the Superbowl today. Then we had a Bibly study on what "worship" was. Apparently, it's "something that brings pleasure to God" Yeah...really got my mind working there. And then after that we got to go to the service! We spent a half hour singing songs, they displayed the lyrics on some screen. Probably a third of the words were spelled wrong. Idiots, I couldn't concentrate on the songs because of spelling errors. And then I listened to a sermon for an hour and ten minutes on the meaning of worship and how it has multiple meanings. Can't tell you anything in depth though, I found myself drifting off too many times.

Squats are where you take the bar, put the weights on it, then put it over your shoulders and...squat. Box jumps are evil, they make you jump on and off this incredibly tall box over and over. And kumquat? Well...that's a nickname...it just reminded me of squat for some reason.

Tss. I still don't get it. Ohohoh! *jumps up and down* If you were to take a pic of you doing those things, and send it to me, then I'd might understand!

Other ways to get them? Perhaps you'll have to show me these alternate ways?

I'd be happy to. *grin* I'm not so sure this forum tollerates it thou

Heh, all this timezone might not be so bad after all. I mean... the weekends I can manage, but the whole week.
Ok that sounded strange, but you know what I mean

The weekends are so fun. My mother thinks I'm insane to spend most of it on the internet. *shrugs* Parents...they just don't understand.
Quote:
*LOL* I don't know how you do it, but you actually managed to make it sound intresting!
MWA! And that worshipping part! Well i bet that kept you from falling asleep at least for a little while

It sounded interesting? Hmm...I'll have to be deliberately dull next time. I have to go next week too.
Yeah, half the sermon I spent going over all the misspelled words and wondering how much money I could get if I offered to check their spelling for them. The other half was spent pinching myself to stay awake.

You gotta be kidding!!! *ROF LOL* So you're saying that you were scared at me and refused to talk to me! I mean... OMFG!
Am I really that bad? *grin* And yes you can answer that, I don't mind. I can handel it... I mean... after all I've heard!

Hey! I'm a shy person...remember? I think I responded to a few of your comments once or twice, but I remember you and Crystal used to go off into your own world in like the fun and games topic and I wouldn't reply. And no...you're not really that bad, I'm just...shy. *twitch*

Heh...that was the point. Ack! My mother just looked at me like I'm weird. I guess spontaneously bursting into laughter while your mother is attempting to salvage your screwed up cookies is a weird thing to do.
Nope...*shakes head* You already said that wasn't what you meant.
Oh yeah...what did you mean?

Yep, that'll be like five Sundays. I have this book I'm supposed to read every day. Although, I conveniently can't find it now.

Well...I decided fifty cents per word would work out well. (ooh look at all the "w" words ) They had enough misspelled words so that I'd make quite a profit.

Nope, you guys didn't ignore me. It's very hard to ignore a person when all they do is lurk and never post anything. Heh...no worries. Laura isn't that shy anymore.

Uh huh. Nasty you know? Sweaty, hair's all messed up and for some reason I turn red when I'm hot...figure that out. Nope, no pictures of Working Out Laura. Besides, I'd rather avoid that look of omg she's weird. When I'd ask my friends to take a picture of me lifting weights.

Oh and my brother got this little religious book from overthere... when he bought this cartoon magazine. And it's kinda like a... political cartoons and stuff... for grown up... you know... ok whatever.
Anyway, he got this little cartton book... And it was just hilarious! It was just so f-ed up that I had to laugh. And it was not made as a joke!
Ok you probably don't understand anything, but lets just say that it was a cartoon for children that was supposed to teach them to hate gays and worship god.

Fifty cents for one word! You'll bankrup the church! But is it really that dangerous with a few spelling misstakes? I mean... *points at post you're currently reading*

The Purpose Driven Life. One of the few books as of late, that I really can't get in to.

I think it's kind of hypocritical for the church to say God loves everyone and that we should do what God says....yet...a good number of Christians hate gays. Hypocrites.

There's a difference. We're having a conversation. They're the church and we're supposed to be worshipping, not noticing the spelling errors on the screen.

Yes well....I hide it well. *twitch* Fine...I lurk.

Pfft, I have like six pictures left, I think I'll take pictures of my kitty instead.

Well...I tried to hide my sense of humor. Obviously I'll have to work on it some more.

I have to go to some party soon. Stupid football game...

Yeah I agree, but not all Christians are like that. It's just the bad combination of Christian/american that seem to clash
... ehm... opps... did I say that out loud
No but really, Christians are cool, it's just when they get all uber as they get... less good...
Hey aren't you Christian? :?

And talking to me doesn't include worshipping so therefor you don't mind the spelling errors? *scrach head* That makes no sense

Hey aren't you Christian? :?

Hey...you did notice the part in which I said "a good number of". And besides...I don't really know what to call myself anymore. I'm kind of at that teenage midlife crisis thing. Not knowing where I stand in the world and all that other crap. I'm overanalyzing like everything nowadays.

Well...when you're "worshipping" You're supposed to be concentrating on the act of worship and not those distracting spelling errors on screen. Bah...that bugged me. I'm going to go break into their computers and fix it.

Heh...of course not. I've been talking to you for awhile now. I bet I wasn't quite so...talkative...when we first started posting.

Pssht, you're just no fun. I mean who wouldn't want pictures of Midnight? (I bet you can't guess what color she is )

Awwww you're having a teenage crisis Well... luckely that passes
...as sone as you stop beeing a teenager
But really, is it that difficult? Isn't this question just black or white. Either you do belive in god, or you don't, simple as that. God might not be what you've been taught it is... but does it really matter? You don't have to belive in the bible and all that stuff just because you do belive in god.

Or you van just ask them... they probably wouldn't mind. Breaking in sounds like more fun thou... I probably wouldn't have corrected the spelling thou

Yeah you're right, I would like a pic of "Midnight", but I'd rather have a pic of you

*sigh* Have to go to school

It's not just believe there's a god or if there's not one. Up until a couple years ago, it had been pounded into my head that there's one way and one way only to live. Since moving, I've seen other lifestyles that aren't so...rigid...and I just well...I don't know. I told you, everything is overanalyzed at this point. Eventually I'll be able to sort everything out in a coherant sort of way.
