Janeway looked out from her practice consel to see the teachers back turned away, she pulled a paper from her pocket and made a notion to her friend Dillar Cowzio to take it. The teacher turned around quickly and cleared her throat, "Alright students, today we will be having a pop quiz, however, because SOMEONE," she eyes Janeway, "decided to mix all of our testing materials, we will be using PADDS instead of hands on testing." Everyone in the class groaned. Janeway grabbed a PADD and went outside to the tables.

"Nice one!" Dillar yelled hours later, slapping Janeway on the back after school was over, "I didn't think Mr. Zaff could have looked angrier!" Janeway blushed and walked to her dorm. She waved bye to Dillar and entered, much to her surprise, the Head-Admiral was there, she stood at attention, her eyes fixed on him..

Many months later, Janeway stood gasping, taking deep breaths as the tunnel around her began to cave in, she yelled for Azil to run, "This is no longer safe, get out!" But the stubborn Ensign merely pulled her arms some more.

"Not without you!" Suddenly, the dirt filled her view and all went dark.

She woke hours later, her eyes took a moment to adjust on the admiral standing above her. She sat up quickly, "Wheres Azil?!" She yelled frantically. Everyone looked at her sad, she began crying, "No...!"

Here was young Kathryn Janeway, standing on the grave of beloved friend Azil, after dying to save her life, she should look more sad, but the young woman is sad, and soon...her pain would take her to new places she has never felt before...
