PostFri Jan 21, 2005 7:20 pm    OCD or Quirks?

Tss, I've been told I have OCD because I will not let anyone touch my food, and I take my glass off the table if people talk, and cover my plate, I'd just say it's a healthy fear of expectorants, but that's just me, When I go out to eat, I try not to think about it, especially salad bars, *shudder*.

Yeah, it's weird that you take your glass off the table and cover your plate,

But I don't do salad bars, touch railings, and wash my hands after school, before dinner, after, and whenever, I shower as much as possible too, blah.

I won't touch railings, either. And I always use two fingers with doorknobs, Curel is my friend,

mmm... I'm gonna go with OCD. germs aren't really that bad if you wash your hands several times a day.

I take at least two showers a day... but that's just because I like showers.

I shower twice, too. 3 times usually over the summer because.... I don't have anything else to do, and it's hot,

yeah. once in the morning. twice if I shower before hitting the pool so then I have to shower again. once before bed. and maybe again in the mid-afternoon if I'm cold. nothing beats a good, long shower.

Awww, thanks,

Tsk, and I don't have paper towels with me, either, They usually have them in public restrooms, ya know, I avoid those at all possible times too, btw.

I shower like twice a day now, I have a bottle of coconut lime verbena hand sanitizer IN MY POCKET 24/7, I refuse to use the bathroom at school, I wear flip flops in the showers at school, I have to take a shower before and after I use the pool, and I hate getting manicures and pedicures, because I don't like it when strage people touch me.

I touch railings, grab door knobs with my complete hand, use public toilets if necessary, go to salad bars if I feel like it, do allow family and friends to touch my food with their hands if they want to, don't cover my plate and don't take my glass off the table when people talk.

What I do do, is take a shower every morning before I go to work, wash my hands every time I go to the toilet and wash my hands before I eat with my hands (not if I use a spoon, fork and knife), but don't wash them after any meal; what's the point really?

Oh, also no sanitizer whatever that is.

And erm... I feel fine! I'm a healthy person if I may say so myself. Don't get sick at all and feel great.

There is this thing being too clean. You don't allow your body to create a healthy immune system. If you're too clean, you have a higher chance of getting skin diseases and get all kinds of iches and/or scabies.

I don't let my sister drink after me, she might have more germs than anyone LOL.

I wash my hands when I complete stranger shakes my hand, I know weird.

I have to have my apartment perfect everyday. If anyone messes, I am angry.

My grandma is kinda like that. I mean, I don't mind if the space around me is a disaster as long as I'm clean.

Tss, I freak out if anyone even considers drinking out of my glass, When someone gets me a drink, they must hold the glass at least three inches from the top, or I won't touch it.
And I used to wash my hands so much they were chapping, but I have since figured out moderation, That, and moisturizing hand soap,

I know this is going to sound weird but I don't let anyone touch my game console controllers its because in the last 4 months everyone in my family has been sick with the exception of me so I don't want to get their germs. So when they want to play a good game of Halo 2 they use their own controller.

I bought my own atari system because I didn't want to let anyone else cough on it. I didn't get the good one like they have, but I have the games I like. ...

Oh, I thought of a few things:

When I'm putting butter or jam or something on a slce of bread, I only use a knife. Some people put the jam on and then lich the jam off of their knives. After finishing their slice of bread, they use the same knife to put on more jam on another slice. I hate that and won't touch the jam jar again.

I never lick off stuff on my knife.
