Post your dreams here!

I rarely dream. I think I dream once every about 6 months. I had a dream today though.

I was in...some european country. The grass was still green. I went to a donut shop, and they were really rude, and had no donuts. Somehow, Oliver was there. And we walked somewhere or something. Dream so fuzzy.

I had a war dream once. Don't know what it was about, who we were fighting, or who I was fighting with. We used some whacked out laser guns that didn't really kill anyone. There was a huge tank with a lot of guns on it that shot bullets. The only aircraft I saw was some WW2 lookin plane flying into a house. Freaky...

My dreams are scary. Either I die or someone else does. Theres always death in my dreams and if that happens I wake up and can't go back to sleep. Like right now, it's 12:56AM and I had a dream about my sister and she was killed in a really bad car wreck which on of my best friends was in a few months ago. I even have school tomarow and I don't know what to do. I can't get a break... *Sighs* I hate these dreams. Why do they have to die in them when me, the nicest person in the world practicly, has to go trough so much? It's okay, I know my friends are here for me so I thank:

Hey Andrew, I looked this up for you. Don't know if it will help, but here you go. It's from the dream dictionary at www.dreammoods.com (good site)

Death

To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life.

***

I used to have a very recurring dream theme about running and hiding. I'd always be running with a group of people, people who I knew, but never saw any of them specifically. We were hiding from "the enemy", whoever they were, and I knew if they caught us, they would kill us, but I was never scared. When I first started having these dreams, they would always happen in construction sites, and later moved on to places like water parks and malls. But it was always an adventure.

So according to that website, these dreams mean I'm avoiding facing my greatest fear. For me, the greatest fear is growing up. Running with people indicated that I was at a point in my life that was happy. This meant my life right now, while avoiding growing up, is happy. I'm still in a happy childhood mode. The thing that caught me, though, was about the adventure. When one is an adventurer in his dreams, it means he is so caught up in his current endeavors that he doesn't recognize his fall from glory. So that means, unless I face my fear and grow up, I'll have already fallen to far in life to get back up easily.

the other day, i had a dream about my cousin, she just turned 14, and for some reason i was watching her (as in babysitting). her boyfriend came over, (not the one she has now) and they were talking. she goes to do something, and i walk into the room her boyfriend was in. i walked up to him and told him that he better not try anything with her, or else i will kill him. he says that they arent going to buy beer or pot and i said that he knew what i meant. later, i'm not sure why, but we were under attack by snipers and stuff, and we were like, in the middle of a small war. and, *darn* my cousin's boyfriend was killed. at the end, my cousin and i came out of our hiding spots and we walked over to a black guy we apparently knew, and we said something like, "at least we made it".

it was wierd.

Well you actually dream pretty much every time you sleep if I'm not mistaken, you just don't remember the dreams very often.

So you're starting to dream about me now? I wonder what that means...

Anyway, everyone dream a few times every night but mostly they are forgotten within a few seconds after waking up.

I had a frightening dream the other night. I knew two guys wanted to kill me so to be saved, I killed them first!

I've had world war II dreams before, it's just a result of every day life I guess.

Yup I think you have to actually wake up in the middle of a dream to remember it...

Anyhow... Dreams... Hm. *grin* I think I'll save those for myself

I don't really dream either. I don't sleep that well either, so I guess I don't get time for it, or something.

OMg, i ALWAYS have insane weird dreams, and I most often remember them too. I had some really creepy ones earlier this morning not to long before I had to get up. I was with my mom at our house, and like all these weird creepy like ghosts and dead people were trying to get us. Like I couldn't get away from them and it was scaring the crap outta me. Then there was this guy chasing me down this street near my house. I remember it was nighttime, and there were fireworks going on at the other end of the street. Anyways, yea... it was scary!

This isn't a dream or anything, but I want to know what you feel in you're dreams. In my dreams, death is always common. Try not to get off topic though. You can PM me if you want to. In my dreams, it's always in first-person view. If i'm being stabed by a knife I feel the physical pain, being shot of murderd. I remeber a dream a long time ago, my first nigh mare actually, I jumped out of the car on a highway over pass and was headed straight to the High way that was under the bridge type thing. I felt the wind from in. I wake up all of the sudden and can still feel the physical pain for a few seconds...

I was shot once in a dream, right in the chest. That hurt like hell, but it would probably hurt more when its real. Nobody helped i fell too the ground, then i woke up.

Dreams don't do me anything though, i don't get depressed when i get killed or have pain or get scared in a dream, i always wake up and can sleep right away afterwards or get up and it just washes away. I'm really surprised people get depressed by it and think it has a meaning.

From what hear from other people thats a gift. I would like too take those dreams over from certain people who get depressed by it, i won't feel anything from it. I would be glad too do them a favor of a good night sleep.

I recently dreamed i was a stockbroker, i was really, really busy making phonecalls. It held me up really, saw the hours pass away, when my alarm clock went i was rested though, very strange.

My strangest dream was a long time ago, i was in the back of my dads truck with 2 of my sisters, and we were driving along this mountain that was really high up, and it had a bridge (wooden, held together by ropes... wtf?) and it was going in spirals arround the mountain, anyway i fell out of the truck and landed on the rope, and it snapped and i remember i wasn't very strong and i couldn't hold on much longer... and i look down and i was sooo high up, and i could see crocadiles there.. swimming waiting for me. i had that dream about 4 times in my life, same things happen all over again, so strange. Maybe some big ugly beast wants me?? hehe...

I'm usually the main character in my dreams, but they're always third person. Like I'm involved in and watching a movie at the same time. Usually I just feel this sense of urgency more than anything. LIke I have to get something done. But no stress about it, no fear. Just urgency.

I never remember any of my dreams. Maybe I'll remember one once every two months, but that's about it.

It depends. Sometimes i'm like myself seeing everything happen from my perspective, and other times, like everything is happeneing to me, yet i'm like up above myself watching everything happen to me. Also I can have a combination of the two - i'm seeing everything happen from my eyes, and also from like above or beside myself watching everything happen.

I've also had dreams where like it's me in the dream, but i'm another person. That doesn't happen often, but it has happened before.

You know, I've never been shot or anything like that in a dream. Once I was at my own funeral. That was really weird and creepy!!

Cool! A gen-u-ine Tom Sawyer dream.

I've only had one dream where I died. I was in my garage with two friends and we looked out to the corner of the culdesac and this mountain lion came around it, ran into the garage and bit my neck. So I just layed there and could feel the warm blood gushing out. It didn't hurt... rather peaceful, actually.

my friend carisa had a dream where she was shot in the head, and woke up screaming b/c it hurt so badly - her head was absolutly throbbing too where the bullet hit her - and it wasn't a headache either!

You're right Sam - that was a genuine Tom Sawyer dream!!
