i prefer seven because she gave voyager all the borg techology. But kes just sat in her quarters everday and maybe wat, go to sleep?

i believe seven does have an inner heart. as kes though she has an all and all heart where she cares for every member of the crew. i think thats why she became the medical assistant. as for seven after she realises that earth would be a good place she becomes more and more convinced the crew needed to be there the most.

I WAY prefer Seven of Nine to Kes. Of course, Seven is a gazillion times hotter than Kes, but that's not nearly all there is to it. Seven's character is infinitely more complex, more difficult, more fascinating, more intriguing than Kes'. Kes' unruffled self-righteousness didn't challenge me, didn't hook me, didn't hold my interest. The awkward, difficult, and mine-laden excursion into Humanity experienced by Seven of Nine - her arrogance, her defensiveness, her earnestness, and her multi-leveled personality - captured me in a way that Kes' story never could.

I prefer Seven not because she's hotter (though it's a plus), but her character is just so much more interesting. Kes was nice, but a little too boring IMO. Blame the writers I guess (though there are a few episodes where she got to escape from the norm).

Also, Seven brought a whole new world of thinking and technical experience to Voyager, so it expanded their horizons.
