According to the New York Post, Pitt, 41, wanted to start a family while Friends star Aniston didn't "want to endure the physical effects that giving birth will have on her sexy body".
Citing unnamed sources, The Post said on the set of the upcoming movie Mr and Mrs Smith, Pitt "spent hours" in co-star Angelina Jolie's trailer.
But the attraction was not the curvaceous star, but her 3-year-old adopted son, Maddox.
"It's about the children," the New York paper quoted an unnamed "pal" as saying. "She just doesn't want kids right now - and he wants kids."
Last month Pitt, who is starring on the big screen in Ocean's Twelve, came close to tears on a US television show when asked about whether he wanted children.
"I'm going to say it - kids, family, I am thinking family," he told interviewer Diane Sawyer.
"Yes, I have got family on the mind. Jen and I have been working something out. Little girls, they just crush me - they break my heart."
In 2002 Aniston, 35, told People magazine the couple would probably start a family, but "not for a while".
The Post said Pitt will move out of the couple's $US13.5 million Beverly Hills mansion. |

Then she is a wimp. Ha She would survive it anyway. I had three and never hurt my body lol. There is such thing as diet.  So other actresses had babies.

a diet wouldn't help with Jennifer, she is on a constant diet anyways, without having too worry about Babies, what would she do when she had them? Never eat again?

Unnamed sources? I remember watching an Oprah interview Aniston was on, and she seemed fine with the prospect of children. How reliable is this source, anyhow?

This one is true, and they believe its because of that movie "Mr. Mrs." starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. (Jealousy Perhaps?)
