All three movies of the matrix are made by the same guy, they all fit too the story. It was suppose too be 3 movies just like Lord of the Rings.

I know it was. but the last two still could have been written by a drunken hobo. They were horribly written. dialogue-wise more then storyline.

That is not true. They were amazing. The fights were overwhelming. The graphics were great. The dialouge? Do you know how much work went into that? The references to the various religions and history? Everything in those three movies and Animatrix, and Enter the Matrix had a significant meaning. All the names, most of the dialouge, locations. From birth to life to death. It went full circle. I can never fathom how anyone thinks it was bad.

"Neo, I have to tell you something."
"Ok"
"But before I tell you that, I have to tell you something else."
"Even though you've got lots of spikes through your body but somehow you're still alive?"
"Yes. Now, hold on a second, I have to remember the second thing I was going to tell you before I die."
"Ok"
"Well, maybe it would be better if I told you the first thing."
"Ok"
and on... and on... and on

1. The Blair Witch Project
2. The Matrix
3. Thirteen Ghosts
4. The Incredibles
5. Veggie Tales (soo annoying)

There are probably a lot more.

The Matrix!? How cna anyone pick the Matrix? That trilogy was amazing!

IMO the first movie was good. The other two were total *beep* I pay 10 dollars for a ticket to watch action and when most of the 2nd and 3rd film was romance between Neo and Trinity it made me nearly barf. It gets bad when they dedicate nearly 10 minutes of Revoulations to a messed up gimp (Neo) bawling his brains out for Trinity after the broad gets impailed in what 6 places? keep in mind this was her fault she wanted to go with him. If I wanted that much sappy crap I would have gotten a ticket to watch Devine Secrets of the YA-YA sisterhood (Also one of the most crapy movies ever you can tell that by the name of the movie. oh that and Beaches.)

How inconsiderate of Neo to cry when the person who means more to him than anyone on the planet died. They should have had Neo fight Trinity and kill her just so you could have gotten another action scene. That would have been alot more dramatic.

Her fault? Yeah. She sure is dumb and deserved death for wanting to stand with the person she loved at the end.....

Its a action movie I don't go to see crapy romance keep the chick flick aspects out of action movies.

an action movie is a movie where a guy like Arnold Schwarzenegger kicks down an entire army with his bare hands. The matrix is a SciFi movie, with everything else rapped around it.

Apparently the story for The Matrix was 'stolen' from some woman. The people who financed it knew this. She's now in some court battle, or so I hear. Who knows, it may just be yet another false internet story. Would explain alot though (the 2 sequels being stuck onto the end like that).
