Fri Dec 24, 2004 10:38 pm Five Year Old Killed Two Days Before Christmas |
|
Yesterday, I learned that a five year old girl was shot to death in her own home.
Our condolences to her family!
We must not grieve for her---do not be sad, for she's spending Christmas with Christ this year.

That's very sad.
On the other hand I must point out that it is my personal opinion that it would be any sadder two days before christmas too.

I know...only 5 years old.....
Hate to sound cold, but I have to wonder what they did with all her gifts.....take em back? stick em in a memorial?
I wanted to cry...I mean...how could anyone think of murder during such a time of joy and peace-and 5 years old...

Most likely, they donated them to Toys for Tots. Thats what I believe would happen. They feel bad, so they make others feel happy in turn.

Yeah or maybe they donated them to juvenile cancer patients? that's always a nice thing to do.

Why did we need too know this? I mean, our grieving isn't going to bring her back. All it does is depress us, and impair our lives.
People die all the time, that's life. Go to Sudan, you'll see people getting rounded off and systemically murdered. Or turn on the news. Did you know +50 million people died in WWII?
Other people like me live, but with horrifyingly dehabilitating diseases. If I complain or tell someone else, all it does is make them sad. There's no point to it.
If I were closely related to this individual I might have more sympathy, but since I don't know her, I am going to stonewall(emotional tactic) any empathy for her, since it would just make me sad.
