I went back to my mom's classroom yesterday to play with those kids at recess again. But this time, two of my friends came along, so we all played out there. The kids were eager to do "Episode 19" of Captain Proton... So we divided into groups. I was "in the FBI" with a couple fellow agents who worked beside Proton and Buster Kincaid 2. Then Jesse (you may well know him as marimbaplayer) got a group of the boys to be his marines and our friend Jessica took a bunch of the girls to be the Constance Goodhearts (and named them Constance Goodheart 1-5). So We all had to plan together to catch the evil Doctor Chaotica and Buster Kincaid 1 (who had been the original BUster, but betrayed us for Chaotica). It was awesome. I got captured by Chaotica and Kincaid 1 at the end of the episode while Constance Goodheart 1-5 were trapped in Arachnia's web. But... we still can't get any of the girls to play Arachnia. Silly girls. Oh well. "Episode 21" will be next semester.

lol my friends mom teaches third grade at my little brothers school. All the little girls do is like jump rope and play hopscotch. They're so girly. Its so cute. And then you look at them, and its like, "She's going to grow up and be the center of the basketball team in highschool." and "She's going to be a goth and a cutter" They're so adorable at that age, then the grow up. its sad.

I just read the 1st post in this topic Sam and omg what a great story!!! 3rd and 4th graders are my fav age too.. actually it's 4th and 5th graders, but close enough!!
Anyways, i was a teachers assistant this summer in an elementary summer school. Well at Recess all the girls wanted to play w/ my hair! There were some boys who looked like they were in 4th or 5th grade. Well, they had walkie talkies, and they'd run around the playground hiding from like whatever one individual they had decided as the "enemy". Even though this "enemy" never had any idea of the game, and were just playing on with their friends minding their own business, it was SOOO funny to watch. They'd be like "Come cover me, over." "Rodger, got that... move, move, move!!!" It was soo funny.

aw, you can't just watch. You've got to play with them. it's so much more fun
Yeah, the girls... are dumb. They play weird things until I tell them to play our cool games. The first time I went over the girls said "yeah, usually we play ponies. And sometimes we play babies and the boys have to come and save us." I just made a face...

haha, i used to play that when i was little. Don't forget "house" too. My friends and i used to also play "Kitties"... i'd pretend I was a cat, and she was my owner, and vise-vera. My friend Grace and I used to play barbies and make huge houses for them. THen our barbies ALWAYS got in fights and would move away from one another, and not be friends anymore.
My brother and I used to play fishing. One of use would sit at the end of the hall looking down the steps to the bottom of them. Then we'd sit w/ our legs hanging down between the banisters, and let down a piece of string tied to a stick. Someone would be at the bottom of the steps, and tie a random little McDonalds toy or something to the string, and tug on it when they were finished. It was always sooo much fun!!
We used to also with out friends, all crowd together into my brother's closet b/c it was pitch black in there w/ the doors closed. Then we'd tell ghost stories.
I had a fisher price kitchen and it was SOOO cool. That was a BLAST to play w/, whether it was "house" or "dolls" or whatever.
Ahh... to be a kid again...

We had this thing called "WaffleTown" It was these plastic blocks that would hook together on the sides so you could make walls and stuff. Then there were road pieces and people, so you could make a whole town. My bropthers and I would always build stuff and then play with our big bucket of Hot Wheels on the WaffleTown roads. Then we'd split the cars up and pretend we each owned a car lot and trade them. Oh... and MarbleWorks! MarbleWorks was so awesome.

I used to play SW, when I was a kid. So much fun. My Vader-impression is still known to the mates I played with back then

I used to play star trek during recess. Pretty lame now, but we had fun. We would like jump all over the wood structure thing, and pretend to be commanding a ship, and do the shaking thing when we got hit, and go down the slide to escape when we got blown up.
