Quote: | SalliSaw, OK------ Oklahoma highway Patrol troopers found 610 pounds of marijuana hidden in caskets being hauled in a track stopped near this eastern Oklahoma town.
The driver Timothy G. Hynd 26, and his passenger, Robert Dean Harper, told the trooper they were working for Tucson, AZ casket company and their destination was Altanta.
They were pulled over early Friday for going 6 mph over the speed limit.
The marijuana was found after the troopers were given permission to search the truck.
Hynd and Harper were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and were freed on bond Monday.
Both men said they had no idea there was marijuana in their cargo.
He didn't check inside for drugs--- would you? said Hynd's attorney Donn Baker. |

Man, look like they would look what they are carrying first though. I would not want to get caught.

How much would that be worth? I've never had anything to do with the stuff, I think it's dumb, but 610 pounds has to be a lot of money.

People should use their brains before thinking about transporting stuff they claim not to know about. They should check it out and tell the job no way..

If they were working for a company they had been working for a long time though then they wouldn't. Would you search your cargo everyday if it was just another shipment for work? They will now, but I don't think it will be a normal occurance.

I did some research on the cost of all that marijuana (I asked a freind who smokes the stuff) He said it could cost more than $700,000 for all of it.

I agree with you beta6. People have a tendancy to lie about things like that. People don't know what will happen if they don't tell the truth about these things because no one has ever done it. Tell the truth I mean.
