I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know.
Where tree tops glisten, and children listen
for sleighbells in the snow.
What about you guys? Are you dreaming of a White Christmas?

I like to have them, but I'd rather not have the humongous load that we're supposed to get this week. A good 3 or 4 inches is nice to have though. I guess it doesn't phase me as much, since I live in Michigan, and as far as I know, there's only been 1 non-white Christmas in my liftime.

I can't remember when we last had a white Christmas here in Britain. At a guess, I'd say 1988 was the last time it snowed on Christmas Day.

I think the last official one was 1970. In some areas there is white christmas' every year, such as where I used to live where there was usually about 6 ft of snow each winter. Here in Aberdeen there hasn't been one for ages but it's freezing here and white mostly, although it's because of the thick frost rather than snow.

But it's FUN We hardly get snow here in Colorado (I know that's contrary to popular belief) and when we do, there's hardly any, and it melts. Most of my life was on the East Coast, where we made snowmen and had snowball fights and made snowcaves. It was FUN! As long as, of course, I didn't get hit with a snowball

Can't disagree there, really. I HATE to shovel it, for instance. Humbug!

During the beginning of the Iraq War we got 3 feet in less than a week
School was out for 4 days!
But, that hasn't happened since.

I hate it when we get that much. All the shoveling, I must say, I don't mind school being called off though. I've missed a whole week in a row of school, due to snow days before.

I really want a white christmas. The most we get here in colorado is a grey-ish white christmas, though. The real blizzards usually hit us in april or march. So I guess we could have a white april fool's day. Or summat.
