Wow Defiant, that's some real cool stuff you got there.

I myself am planning to buy computer parts and assemble it together. This is what I'm getting:
    - Asus A8V Deluxe WiFi / Socket 939 / VIA K8T800PRO / ATX motherboard
    - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ - socket 939 - 512K L2 64Bit Hypertransport
    - PC3200 DDR 512MB (2 times)
    - Maxtor 6B160MO DiamondMax 10 160GB Harddisk
    - Club3 CGNX - G668TVD NVIDIA GeFprce PC6600GT - PCI-Express - 128MB - DVI/TVO
    - 3.5" 1.44MB Foppy Diskdrive

lucky you, im still using a computer that was made in '98, although it was concieved as a supercomputer back then

Nice. Youre getting the better version of my motherboard and procesor, that I didnt want to spend extra getting. Also, I dont like wireless mice or keyboards, so I dont go there. And your graphics card, ugh. I dont buy nvidia. But im getting a Radeon 9800 AIW Pro soon, which is technically worse than yours, but I like ati.

No wireless? Why's that? I'm still need to get everything so if you have a good reason why I shouldn't buy a wireless desktop please tell me now.

OH. Theyre great, you should definetly get one if you can and want. I just wont because I go to lan parties all the time (huge groups of nerds get their computers together and play games for hours) and if more than one person has a wireless mouse or something, the signals interfere. I just wont use them, thats all.
