You haven't done ANYTHING wrong, Amy so please continue with this topic. I have said that you can interpret things as you see fit and that if you want to think of one band as Heavy Metal, then you can.
Please stay here. Tell me, are you going to listen to any more KISS songs?

I will, thanks.
I'm going to a store tomorrow, planning to walk away with various music CD's. I'll see what I come back with.

I'm not sure. Do you like the song I'm gonna rock and roll all night?

Do I like it? It's a classic, if an 80's song can be a classic.

KISS songs I've always enjoyed...
Detroit Rock City, Rock And Roll All Nite, War Machine, I Was Made For Lovin' You, and their cover of Ramones' Do You Remember Rock And Roll Radio?

Ahhh, never heard it. I'm not a big fan of theirs or anything, but I respect them for their music, and I like a few songs.

On TV, yeah. I've never really been to many concerts in my life, only one I've ever been to was a Lisa Brokop (canadian country singer) years ago when I was 14.

Never heard of her.
Then again, I have no preference for country music. I like all music apart from Country and Rap.

I still think you should check out Manowar If you plan on buying a bunch of albums, I can easily recomend Manowar's "Louder tHan Hell" album. Their music isn't overly heavy or brutal, but heavy enough to have a good time. Some of the songs can be motivating (Number 1 for example), others can be inspiring, and some can be outright hillarious in the cheesiness (The Gods Made Heavy Metal is a great example of a Manowar song with cheesy lyrics, but the song is amazingly fun to listen to).

I may bring it back. I'm going Christmas shopping after work tomorrow. If I have enough money left after buying presents, I'll pick that one up. If the store has it.

Yeah, if they don't have it, Kings of Metal is a good second-choice.

Cheers. I'm looking forward to it, I actually haven't brought ANY CD's since March 2001. I have such a big collection (500+, that's not including my vinyl collection), I stopped buying in 2001.
But I just feel like engaging in some retail therapy tomorrow.

I used to buy CD's alot, but I have a tendancy to sell things I own if there's something else I want, so I stopped investing in them.

Very wise.
I suppose you're too young to ever have collected vinyl. After vinyl, I went onto cassettes and then CD's in the early 90's.

Yeah, I'm only coming up on 20 now. But my mom had a record player when I was younger, and my grandparents had plenty of vinyls.
